Very nice motel near Boone on South 105

Pros: Price and amenities and customer service.
Cons: Beds and pillows.
Location: Location ok for tourist attactions
I enjoyed the stay, been here before, the pillows although were not very comfortable, sore neck from sleeping on them. and bed a little less on support not good.

Our room was not ready/cleaned until 8pm also the manager was supposed to call us with an apology and/or compensation but has not to date.

Pros: Friendly staff...good location for my work. Comfortable beds.
The pool is up and running...the staff was friendly and helpful...the smoking rooms are all on the top floor...so ask for a lower floor if you can't stand the smell...the room was just what I paid for...and no bed bugs. You will be staying in a decent place that has had it's updates done. Relax and enjoy your stay.

Room smells like cigarette smoke.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Paint the smoke smell out and upgrade the televisions.
Nice check in staff. However, room smelled liked cigarette smoke and I requested a non-smoking room. Ok to stay there if you can not find anything else.

I was visiting Boone for my daughter's orientation at App and just needed a place for myself for the night as she was staying on campus. Everything at Super 8 was fine.

Just an overnight stay. The smell of paint from the pool area was very strong in the lobby. Oh well, guess you couldn't help that.

Overall, the room served the purpose. The room A/C was very loud when it came on and repeatedly woke us. The bathroom shower water temperature seemed to change when water in other rooms was turned on. On the 2nd day, cleaning staff did not clean the room. Only made beds and added towels. The continental breakfast was rather lacking. We stayed in mid-June but the pool still was not open. The staff was very nice and the entrance was clean and appealing.

VISITING SON IN BOONE -- WE GO APPROX 3 TIMES A YR

Pros: BREAKFAST WAS OKAY.
Cons: LARGER TV IN ROOM, BETTER MATTRESS & MAYBE A WAFFLE MAKING MACHINE FOR BREAKFAST.
Location: THE MOTEL WAS IN A GOOD LOCATION.
FIRST TIME STAYING AT SUPER 8 AND THE ROOM WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. THE BEDSPREADS COULD US A GOOD CLEANING AND THE CARPET IN THE ROOM ALSO. THERE WAS A DRIP IN THE BATHTUB THAT NEEDED TO BE ATTENDED TO ALONG WITH PAINTING IN THE BATHROOM AS YELLOW WAS SHOWING.

Not bad, but not great...

Pros: Staff was very friendly, good location, inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: Buy some wash cloths, no buy EXTRAS. Ensure the soap dispensers don't leak, and if they do clean them up. Ahem.. toilette paper replacements ALWAYS.
Location: We went to a cave with stalactites inside. Lots of fun. You've gotta do horseback riding on the mountain trails. A BLAST.
This place is just very average, for the area however, the price is pretty cheap. So I figure most people know what they are getting at that point. The rooms are okay. I thought they were pretty clean until I went into the bathroom. The wall mounted soap, shampoo dispenser leaked all over the tub. For the amount that had leaked there to be there, clearly the cleaning staff saw it and did not clean it up (the hotel was booked solid so the room couldn't have been vacant for more than a few hours). Also we had plenty of towels, and one wash cloth. In who's mind does that make sense. I read a review AFTER we had checked in and saw someone mention the same EXACT thing. So that tells me they are aware of that problem and just not caring enough to fix it. The man attending the front desk was very nice, and explained to me that they were short on wash cloths, he got me one from 'somewhere'. I would have likely let this slide had I not read it online from someone else.... Last thing... there was barely a quarter roll of toilette paper left on the rack.. And NO replacement roll. At this point I was thinking fire the housekeeping. Nothing says I'm enjoying myself more than walking back from the front desk with a nice roll of toilette paper in your hands. The Thai food was to DIE for :-)..... So the disappointment was limited to the bathroom. Everything else was okay. The people were super friendly. That alone made it hard to give a overly negative review.

They are great at recommending good restaurants, giving good directions, and they will deliver neccessities (toilet paper) to a guest room if requested. Thank you for bringing the shower dispenser to our attention, it has been replaced. I hope we can host you the next time you are in Boone and looking for value in accomodations.

Pros: Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable.
Cons: nothing
Location: went out for dinner every night.
Was in town for a few days on business. the only other thing I did while I was in town was go to restaurants every night for dinner.
