“Excellent value in Boothbay Harbor”

Wonderful owners, very eager to please and do a wonderful job. Recently remodeled, very tidy and clean. However, for those accustomed to modern amenities, beware, this is a throw-back with extreme clean, but spartan accommodations and small very basic BATH. Overall we would rate this an 8 out of 10 (largely due to the BATH). Would RECOMMEND.

“lake & freeboats & equip great, quite & relaxing will go again”

the lake was great and the boats & equipment provided was real nice of the hotel. very nice and relaxing location, off the main beat, but 5 minutes your down town were all the action is. the staff is all family & very friendly & helpful. My wife says bring your own hair dryer. had a great time and the lobsters(go for the two deal) were excellent at a wharf's restrurant not downtown.

“Great place to stay in boothbay harbor”

We spent 3 days at the beachcove hotel and resort in late august. The owners are very pleasant with a great sense of humor. The hotel is located about a mile from downtown. The owners are helpful and willing to assist in anything they can. There are row boats you can take out, swimming in the pool or small beach, fishing, grills, fireplace by the water. They also told us of the free parking in downtown municipal lots after 4 pm. It is a great place to stay while in boothbay. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, well maintained and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

“A lovely hotel”

We arrived here after the hustle and bustle of Boston, and it was a lovely contrast! We relaxed completely, from our welcome at reception where we were given information about the area, to our room, not having direct view of the lake but even so, a very pleasant outlook. We were lucky, havng glorious weather, so were delighted to relax by the pool, and take a canoe on the lake! We enjoyed the walk into Boothbay Harbor, quite a distance, but on a balmy evening, very relaxing, and it was worth it for the choice of restaurants and delightful surroundings. The owners were always on hand, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.

“Better than expected”

Calling Beachcove a hotel and resort is a stretch. But the family run motel is clean, comfortable and well serviced. The location is an excellent tranquil setting. However, you will still need to drive into town.

“Good Place; Great Location”

Conveniently located appox. one mile from Boothbay Center. The hotel is located in a safe residential neighborhood and the property backs onto a small, clean and pretty lake. The rooms are clean, large, each with decks overlooking the lake. The furniture is in good condition but not high end. The lake was wonderful - clean, refreshing, fun. The pool was small but new with a large deck. The grounds were well kept. Beach Cove is a modest family hotel with friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast of home made muffins, juice, coffee/tea was just right. Of the many places around Boothbay, I think this is a hidden gem for families (and their dogs!). We will return.
