We enjoyed our stay and will come back again!

Pros: Flagship Inn is a classic New England motel of top notch standard.
Cons: The heating/cooling unit is, as in all motels, noisy - but there is a fan heater in the bathroom which is quiet and sufficient to heat the whole room!
Location: The locaction is fine. Quiet and cental and easily found from the road.
We stayed at Flagship Inn some 7 - 8 years ago and liked it then and therefore returned now. We found our room at Flagship Inn to be a very cosy and tastefully decorated in calm, soothing grey-green colors. The beds were comfortable (the wife has back problems but slept like a log). She liked that the bathroom sink, counter and mirror were behind a wall next to the shower and toilet and created some privacy and she was not, like in most motels, doing her things at the sink and mirror with her back and exposed toward the whole room! The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are two full breakfast and lunch places across the parking lot and the street in addition to the building for the complimentary continental breakfast place in the motel itself.

The staff at the front desk were so helpful. We had a medical emergency while on vacation. They made us feel at ease in a strange place,

Lovely Pet Friendly Motel.

This was really a very nice motel for people traveling with pets. The price was reasonable, the location was very close to 'downtown' Booth Bay Harbor. There was a water bowl, toy and treats waiting for our pooch. Coffee and other morning offerings were very good including cream ( no powder) for your coffee.

A peaceful option
Posted Jan 30, 2012
Pros: Location
Cons: Carrying suitcases upstairs
Location: Ideal for peace & quiet, but close enough to town for all amenities
Pleasant hotel with a decent breakfast choice. Easy parking but upstairs room was a little gloomy and the outside stairs were dark at night. Nice verandah. Welcoming & helpful staff. May be an even better hotel once the season starts. A long walk or a drive into town, but should be a good, quiet location when the town is 'buzzing'.

Staying in a time warp.
Posted Jan 29, 2011
Pros: there were none
Cons: just about everything
Location: right on the main road
Like a flash back to the 70's, this place really needs updating, could use new carpet, beds, furniture and just about everything in the room.

Very friendly family run hotel

We have stayed here a number of times over the last five years. It is clean and comfortable. Nice pool area. Good location just a few minutes outside of the small downtown. A free trolley takes you to the shops and restaurants. It's a great value for the money. Very well kept up and friendly service.

Excellent access to Boothbay Harbor

Very satisfied with hotel itself. Have stayed there on three separate occasions. Hotel has been expanded and there is a separate barn where a substantial continental breakfast is served each morning. Hotel is a stop for the free hop-on hop-off trolley that goes to Boothbay Harbor. Also easy access to our favorite restaurant in East Boothbay Harbor.

Good value, clean, comfortable rooms. We own a home in Boothbay Harbor that we are renovating and have stayed here several times this past year.
