Stunning View of the WaterfrontPosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: The location and the scenery was fabulous.
Cons: An earlier check in time would have made our stay more pleasant.
Location: Local boat tour was great.
We arrived around 9:30 a.m. on a Monday to get an early start. Check-in is 3:00 p.m. and we were told they would notify housekeeping to see if we could check-in earlier than 3:00 p.m. We were disappointed that we could not check-in earlier as requested and our room was not ready until 3;00 p.m. Housekeeping did not clean out the refrigerator in our room from the previous guests. Lobster dinner at 88 was very small and the check was very large.

Nice ResortPosted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: The property location is awesome, grounds are beautiful. The free shuttle service and boat taxi to Boothbay Harbor were nice. The room was nice.
Cons: Breakfast at $16 per person is high...two people can eat in town for $20 total.
Location: Boothbay Harbor is a quaint New England town with shopping, eats and various activities. We took a 2hr tour on a 65' sailboat, it was awesome.
Overall good experience. Boat taxi and shuttle into town was nice. Property very well kept and pleasant. We had partial ocean view from our porch which was most relaxing. If going to dinner, the one restaurant requires business casual dress, which we were not prepared, no shorts or jeans; however, the other restaurant does allow for casual dining and food was good. We had a king room with sofa, was nice/clean and the bathroom was good size. The fog horn from the lighthouse across the way on the island which seemed a good distance..was not far enough..it sounded all night the one night and was quite annoying. The horn sounded one night every 30 seconds and did not stop until daylight. Were not too happy with the younger 20 somethings that were in the room next to us and advised mgmt at checkout of the disruptive behavior and loud commotion at 1 am, seemed quite odd as the property seems to draw families, middle age & older couples not the younger crowd that act like it is spring break. It is a resort & spa and am sure the mgmt took our concern seriously. Despite the minor issues, this is a beautiful property and we will visit again.

Pros: Clean and updated. Beautiful location.
Location: Visited the town of Boothbay Harbor. Cute shops, great bars and restaurants. Very friendly people.
Large, newly remodeled room. Several buildings with different size rooms and views. Grounds are very well maintained. Free van or boat shuttle across the bay to downtown Boothbay. Enjoyable ride with Captain Richard.

Enjoyed Our Spruce Pt VisitPosted Jun 30, 2015
Great place to stay in a peaceful retreat near Boothbay Harbor. Located right on the water with awesome Maine coastal views!! Room was comfortable & spacious for 4 adults with 2 queen beds, a large porch & a sweet ocean view. Great facilities for relaxing in a variety of scenic locations with plenty of scenic walks & exploring to be had. Complimentary bikes, SUPs, kayaks, s'mores & boat transportation to/from Boothbay Harbor. Wish we could have stayed longer & hope to visit again sometime.

Lovely, historic, upscale getaway!Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: They have a variety of options for accommodations, including rooms, townhouses, and lodges.
Cons: The only thing I would change is the location of our unit, which didn't have a view because it was directly behind the main building.
Location: Lots coastal views, lobsters, boating, seafood restaurants, beach combing...short drives to other coastal towns, and not too far to outlet shopping.
Our family of four enjoyed our short stay. It was a gorgeous property with so much to do that we wished we had booked a longer stay. They have thought of everything! Two pools, tennis courts, kayaks, bikes, boat rides, a games room, fitness centre, giant chess and checker board, shuffle board, horse shoes, a playground, and a spa! Not to mention the casual dining and the formal dining restaurants! Everything was free and included, except our meals. There were pictures of the elite like the Kennedy's and John and Annie Glenn, plus numerous magazine and newspaper articles about the resort! It is located at the end of the island and surrounded by trees and water. Our queen sized beds were comfortable and the linens and pillows so comfortable! Would highly recommend it and plan to return!

Pros: The oceanfront location, and proximity to the harbor shops and businesses.
Cons: The " pub", Boagies, should stay open past 11, and should serve more casual and pub like food.
Location: Boothbay has many nice shops, mostly seafood restaurants, bars with entertainment, and boating trips, as well as beautiful gardens to tour.
We were able to check in early, and enjoy the amenities of the resort, including relaxing by the Oceanside pool, and using the kayaks and paddle boards. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated, we appreciated the original artwork in each room, and many areas of the resort.

Perfect in every way!Posted Jun 8, 2015
I recently visited for a wedding that was held here. The room, feel of the resort and staff exceeded every expectation. Boothbay Harbor is simply magical! My only regret was that I couldn't stay longer!
