“A great deal in a downtown location”

We stayed in an efficiency that was quite nice. The only drawback is that the front desk is not manned 24 hours and we needed to wait to check in because we arrived at lunchtime and it was difficult to find a place to park our car while we waited. Other than that, we were very pleased with the hotel.

“No frills but great!”

On a tight budget, came across this chain of "no frills" hotel with a Bordeaux location. Staff were extremely friendly, facility clean and quiet and room was quite comfortable. Garage parking too! Make sure to get the room with the bed and not just the fold out. Worth the extra money! If you're looking for movies on demand or a spa treatment, this isn't the place. But if you want a good location, clean and friendly without spending a fortune, then this is a real find.

“Good Deal”

Soft bed, fluffy pillow, decent water pressure... what more could you want? Bathrooms even have hair/body soap and a hairdryer. The kitchenette has a fridge, stove, microwave, and all the dishes and utensils. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the city center, but tram lines B and C stop close by. You get a great room for the price, and I'd recommend Appart'Valley to anyone.

“Great value - if you can find it”

The room was clean, kitchenette was sufficiently well equipped so I could cook a nice dinner. Supermarket fairly close walk. Short tram or bike ride to downtown along the river. I found out when I was checking out that there is breakfast available in the morning, they had not told me about that when I was checking in so I missed it. I'm not sure if it is included or if it is an extra fee. Just a suggestion - you may want to print out very detailed directions (or call the hotel directly to get directions) before your trip. I had a really hard time finding the hotel - I had to ask four different people, none of whom had heard of the street or the hotel. I finally stopped in another hotel and the receptionist had to then call this hotel to get directions. Even after I arrived in the courtyard area I still didn't see the sign right away.

It is a very nice place to stay, because it is not expensive and it is very well located if you are interested in getting the most for your money.

“good for the price!”

this place was great to stay if you are on a budget... the room is truly an apartment bigger than a hotel room, had a complete kitchenette with dishes cutlery and pots/pans... despite having read about issues with cleanliness, the room was very clean, although there was mold in the shower... the location is good and pretty easy to find... the only problem with this place is if you are arriving outside of their recpetion hours. we got there around 8:00 pm and despite having emailed them to tell them this, we had no clue what to do. we called the number they sadi to do on the door and got no answer... eventually we followed someone into the building and by chance met a man who had the same thing happen to him and where he found his key.... overall the place was really great, but be warned if you will be arriving there later....

“Good location.great value for money”

This was a very reasonably priced hotel. Our room was on two floors and had a small kitchen.Within easy reach of town centre and also very near to the tram stop.

“Would go there again”

The hotel is not really a hotel but rather an appartment building. They had a very friendly receptionist, who spoke english well. The appartment was clean, however there was no roomservice unless you stayed at least one week. The only drawback was that they didn't provide a broom with the appartment to swipe the floor ourselves (we didn't ask either). The appartment consisted of a lower floor room with kitchenette, microwave, fridge and dishes - great if you wanted to store and prepare your own food. It had a pull-out sofa and then a real bed on the loft (no door, though, just up some fairly steep stairs). The bathroom was small but had everything necessary. Originally, there were only two towels, but the receptionist handed out more when we asked. There is no pool or fancy amenities but it was inexpensive. It did have a laundry area and you could buy a wifi pass for internet. The hotel was a long but doable walk away from the city and close to the river. And it had inexpensive, gated parking. Overall, if you travel with children it is a great solution.

“Some points must be taken into account”

Overall, good hotel, though they currently don't have parking. Be prepared if in the raining season because to get to your room you pass through uncovered areas.
