“Good stopover”

A budget hotel and you get what you pay for. It was all perfectly OK and fine for a stopover on a longer journey. Went into St Emillion looking for a restaurant but the town was basically shut. Came back to Balladins for a perfectly acceptable meal in the hotel and some good local wine.

“Awful, wouldn't go back”

this is a grubby hotel. from the outside it looks quite pleasant - pool etc. The room had peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, sheets that were past their best. Good job it was only overnight. Would never stay again.
