“Marathon du Medoc”
This place was a little hard to find in the dark. It was 40 minutes away from pauliac and the Marathon du medoc. The accommodation was lovely and the village quaint. i would use this place again.
“Good choice for families who want a quiet beach holiday”
Quite family apartment resort. Helpful and friendly staff. All areas clean and tidy. No entertainment and shopping facilities so you do need a car or hire a bike (available on site). We enjoyed our stay here and would return if we visited the area again. Well worth what we paid

The nearest train station is Bordeaux 70 kilometers (44 miles) away. A seasonal coach transfer service runs from the station to the resort. Taxis and hire cars are widely available.
Driving directions: Take the A10 motorway to Bordeaux, then the A63 Eysines le Bouscat exit. Take the N215 road towards Lacanau and the D207 via Carcans to Maubuisson. At the Maubuisson exit, take the road for Carcans Plage and the residence is the 2nd turning on the right.
