Good fit for our needs in BordeauxPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: location, cleanliness.
Cons: Fitness room was good to have, but it was very hot in there and no water was available.
This was a nice little place in a good location in Bordeaux. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and to the river area. There were three of us using the space but it was spacious enough for the couple of nights we stayed. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The small kitchen was convenient, especially if you are going to be there for a few nights.

Good location, bad beds.Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: The reception staff were very helpful in every way. Nothing was too much effort for them. There was a washing machine available which was helpful.
Cons: The bed and pillows should be improved. The lighting in the bathroom should be stronger, and have a private door for families. Better aircon.
Location: Shops nearby, an easy walk to most attractions. A beautiful place to visit, although difficult to drive around without raising a sweat/ blood pressure
Location in Bordeaux was great, close to restaurants, main shops, supermarket and good underground parking (at a cost). Pillows and bed were hard as rocks - do not expect a restful nights sleep!, the bathroom swing door was not private and the bathroom lighting was poor. Aircon was weak, however there was also a balcony door which could be opened.

Lacking a connectionPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Location was really great and the actual rooms really great. But wifi terrible.
Cons: Wifi/internet needs to step into the 21st century.
Location: Great location, close to mall, shops, trams, and walking distance to best sites.
The internet/WIFI is fickle to non-existent, could not download any materials well. OK for checking emails but no use beyond that. Also kept dropping out. Rooms themselves are really great. Location fantastic. Some of the staff were very nice and helpful, but others during day sometimes seemed disinterested and more interested in getting back to the computer monitor in front of them.

Fantastic locationPosted Jul 15, 2014
We stayed here for 4 nights based on the location and self catering option. Soon after checking into a lovely room we had to move after the toilet flooded. Unfortunately the room we moved to was smaller and of a lesser standard. Usually a room of the same or a higher standard would be offered so this was surprising and soured the rest of the stay. The staff did mention it wasn't the first time they had problems with the toilets. I would recommended this hotel for it's location and reasonable price only.

Close to the centre of townPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: Location and front desk staff
Cons: Cleansing of room
Location: Easy access to rest of city
This hotel is very convenient for the city centre and Plenty of cafés and eating places. We stayed for 9 nights, staff on front desk very helpful, but room was not cleaed to 6th day although initially agreed to be cleaned sooner. Dish cloth and towel not replace for full week ( bit dirty).

Spacious & central self-catering apartmentsPosted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: The large, light, airy, clean and well-equipped apartment rooms, the free-wifi.
Cons: The common parts could do with a refurb.
Location: Very central a short walk to the 18th century city centre, 20 mins from the station by bus.
Not sure why I booked - wasn't what we were looking for! There are cheaper and more interesting central hotels available in Bordeaux for a city mini-break (check out The Guardian's guide for example). This is a chain of hotels aka Ibis or Holiday Inn offering very spacious self-catering apartment style rooms. Ideal for a long stay business traveller or a family holiday, and the spacious, modern and clean rooms are good value for that - I just wouldn't recommend for a romantic weekend as the hotel itself feels somewhat shabbily corporate and charmless.

Really good city centre hotelPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Location excellent. Decor pleasing and a bit different. It did not feel like just another chain hotel. Rooms spacious and well-appointed.
Cons: A bit confused over how the frequency of cleaning worked. Didn't affect our stay.
Location: Loads to see. Main sightseeing easy to access. Shopping. Restaurants and bars. Maps of city available in reception. recommend having a guide book.
We stayed 4 nights in central Bordeaux and found the hotel excellently situated for all the main sightseeing. Also, there was nearby shopping, including an Auchan supermarket if you wanted to self cater. There were plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere, but there seemed to be plenty of public transport around. The car parking was easy, once you had the code to get into the underground car park. A lift took you up to reception or straight up to your room. The breakfast was plentiful and varied and served in an attractive room. We liked the accommodation very much and found it spacious and comfortable. The decor of the whole hotel was interesting and a bit different. Staff were helpful and very polite and pleasant. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wanting a city centre hotel.
