IT would be great if there were more places like this-the grounds were beautiful; owner very helpful and a charming little town with good restaurants. the room spectacular!!!

Nice hotel outside Bordeaux

The hotel is nicely located outside Bordeaux but convenient to the park&ride tram service to quickly get into Bordeaux. Our room (the Margaux) was spacious, elegant and comfortable, located on the second floor and served by an elevator. The proprietor spoke English and had good recomendations, especially for a nearby excellent restaurant, Cafe l'Esperance.

CHateau Du Pian - helpful, friendly and clean

What a great place to relax. The suite was fantastic. Real 18th century luxury with all the things that would leave Marie Antoinette insisting that everyone enjoy sweetened baked-goods. The owner could not have been mre helpful in arranging a tour of a local winery for us and catering to our whims. The hotel is beautiful and I would warmly recommend it to anyone. It was a little difficult to find, (this is more to do with the French system of road signs being a little 18th Century as well) but this is not the fault of the hotel and should not detract from it at all.
