Cons: service: the staff was not very approachable.
Location: nothing except wine visit
First of all, it was awesome, but is not worth the money. The Château is awesome, including the facility, cleanness, and its history. The staff were good but still can be better. I needed to go for information again and again, such as dinner time, dinner room, breakfast time. I hope they were just too busy. Also, the way to Château was macadam, where we cannot drag luggage and have to lift them through the whole way. It took at least 10 min to walk from the entrance to the Château -- you can imagine how it felt to lift such heavy luggage cases for 10 min walking. They didn't really help us until I suggested it. I appreciate that they give us four bottles of water and one bottle of wine for free, although I didn't try the wine, lol. The only point that I feel sorry was the breakfast. The quality just doesn't fit this price at all. Compared with the dinner I booked, the breakfast was AWFUL. Fruit was not fresh enough, coffee tasted like water, bread was like supermarket bread. It feels like that they don't care about customers any more after the night ends. That breakfast in fact makes me feel very angry.

A truly unique and enjoyable experiencePosted Mar 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
We loved our hotel and room, and its location. Was a little quiet this time of year, but the staff at the hotel and at all the folks we dealt with at Bernard Magrez Luxury Wine Tours were truly outstanding.
