Great hotel

Great hotel. Comfortable, nice bed, good shower. Just needed some more channels for English speaking guests. There were almost none.

Cheap but not cheerful

Booked as a stopover for visit to Disneyland. The hotel is billed as close to Disneyland, in fact it's 18km to Disneyland according to TomTom. We booked a quad room, double with shower + bunk beds , very cramped, bathroom was dirty. Corridor leading to rooms dark and dingy, stank of cigarrettes, pretty disgusting and depressing really. Buffet breakfast was ok; best avoided.

Good place to stay (without kids)

We stayed for one night as a stopover on our way home, the hotel was very neat and being redecorated but without any major disruption.Our only problem was that due to traffic we arrived very late to find that the restaurant was just closing as was pretty much everything else in the local area. Room service only did the food that was served in the Restaurant which sounded nice but was way too upmarket for our five year olds (Gazpacho of melon was one choice..). They don't do a kids menu and we didn't find out until we left the next morning that there was a McDonalds about five minutes away. All in all a very nice place for adults but not so good for children.

Convenient access to Médoc vineyards

The rooms are recently updated and very pleasant, the hotel staff competent and friendly. Some public areas are currently under renovation resulting in some minor inconvenience. The location was convenient for visiting Bordeaux and the Médoc vineyards, and offered adequate nearby casual dining options. WiFi functions but needs work. Overall good value.

Paper cups

We stayed at this hotel on our outward journey to Spain and our return journey. Overall we were content with the hotel but one set of cardboard cups provided with the tea/coffee making facility we though was cheap and less than expected of a hotel such as the Mercure. This should be changed as it is poor service.

Couldn't Have Wished for Better!!!!!

Travelling to our apartment in Spain and stayed as our overnight stop. Meg our Bearded Collie was sooooo impressed!!!! Certainly recommend and would stay again

Not that impressed

Even though the room was clean and comfortable, I was dissatisfied with the hotel because I purposely chose it because it was advertised to have a restaurant in it. However, for the two days we were there, the restaurant faciliies were not open. They did have a very nice, but very expensive breakfast bar available, but no other meals. They should not advertise a restaurant if they do not operate it!! The resevation was non refundable as well.
