Very good location in the heart of the city.

Pros: Located in the heart of things - transport, restaurants and shops - but quite side road. Comfortable bed, friendly staff and good shower.
Cons: TV - more English channels. Egg & bacon breakfast option?
Location: Shops, restaurants, cafes, people watching and walking. Buses, trams to rest of Bordeaux, airport and rail station. We went to Saintes by train.
Lots of buses and the trams which get you about quite cheaply. Bordeaux St. Jean Station had a good choice of destinations.

Charming hotel

Cute boutique hotel with tons of character and in convenient location. Small room but sufficient and comfortable. A lift to our floor made bag carrying easy. Overall we were very happy with our stay at this delightful hotel and would recommend it happily.

Conveniently located

Pros: location
Rooms are very small. When we checked in, the AC wasn't working and it was a hot day. We asked to be moved and were told no other rooms were available as the hotel was full. After much discussion, we were moved to a bigger room that had more windows and was cooler. This room was much nicer. I would recommend booking one of the larger rooms if you stay here.

Quaint little hotel in heart of Bordeaux

Posted Aug 1, 2013
Location: In the heart of town
My husband and I stayed here beginning of June for one night after a TGV train trip from Paris. Train station to hotel was a bit of a distant about 17.00 Euro. The hotel was located in the heart of town. Quaint little hotel with small rooms. If catching a cab, make sure you head down to the square to catch one by the major hotels. The few Cabs on the street do not stop to pick up. Cab ranks don't always have cabs stopping, we waited 1 hour then gave up and walked 2kms to the Mercury to find a cab. We didn't know the area the first stay. The hotel was small and comfortable. Lift wasn't working and had to take the 3 flights of stairs. Probably bad timing. Recommended as the service was good. Staff spoke good English. Plenty of cafe's around for breakfast.

Great location - best if you don't have a car

Posted May 30, 2013
Pros: Location in Bordeaux. bedroom cute.
Cons: Pain to reach with car - not much information provided by hotel. Lack of privacy with bathroom as it was so small and more a cupboard.
Location: Perfect! if you don't have a car
Very good location within Bordeaux. Walking distance to center of Bordeaux. Not easy if you have a car. Hard to access the hotel by car - best option is local parking (which was full when we arrived) and then you have to walk. Would recommend if you don't come driving. Rooms are cute and well decorated but bathroom/toilets, while functional, are tiny and feels more like a cupboard in the bedroom than a different independent room. Great for a short stay

Room was very small- similar to a camping experience in a mobile home! However it has an excellent location.
