No idea how it got 4 stars, 2 is a stretchPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The only good things I can say about the hotel are that the staff was friendly and it was pretty clean, if you do not count the stains all over the carpet. Very shabby furniture, the little table actually leaned at a slope. Queen bed was two very small, very hard small twins pushed together. Pillows were very flat and very hard. Towels were very worn, thin and small. I have NO idea how it got its 4 star rating, that is an absolute joke.

Don't stay here, stay at a flee pit b&bPosted Mar 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff were not welcoming (had nothing to do with language problem. I speak both English and Dutch fluently). Staff were aware that we were on our honeymoon. but did not go out of their way. No tea or coffee making facilities in our room. A shower rail that came away from the wall completely, just by adjusting the head so that you could stand under the water. Two single beds and single duvets. Move in the bed and they parted, So no fun and games then on our honeymoon. One duvet was stained. Used towels were folded back up and placed on the rail. Balconey 3ft by 2ft that was rusted. TV that only picked up a few on the channels. A lift that was out of date. As for dinner, don't go there. Paid way too much for way to little. Meat was over done, had maybe 7 fries between us. Had to remind them that the meal came with a salad. Oh just a few green bits found and thrown together. After 11pm there is no way of getting anything to drink, as there are no facilities to get anything. The use of the Thermen should either of been included in the price or we should of at least had some discount. In short: This hotel is way over rated, should not have four stars but at a struggle two. Should train their staff to be more welcoming, and they should listen to their guests

Great hotelPosted Aug 11, 2012
Pros: It was very clean. My room was spacious and the staff was friendly. The garden was gorgeous
Cons: None. Everything was great
Location: Right off the highway. Off on a side street behind the Esso. If I didn't have a GPS I would have missed it.
The hotel was beautiful. Close to major highway. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They also helped entertain the kids during dinner. I plan on staying here again

Clean, great breakfast, but too far outPosted Apr 28, 2010
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a great breakfast spread with assorted yogurts, cereals, rolls, bacon, saugage, and both scrambled & hard boiled eggs. The hotel was very clean & posh and geared more toward the business traveler then a family. There is nothing close to the hotel so we had to drive into Sittard for dinner (only 15min, but would have prefered to walk after driving to get there). The beds were very hard and the pillows were very small.
