“Great Hotel by Airport”

The Hotel Korona staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful from the time we arrived needing local currency to pay for the cab, to arranging transportation to and from downtown Kiev, to checkout and transportation to the IKiev Airport. The hotel must have recently been upgraded, the bathroom and bedroom was very large and EXTREMELY clean. If you need accomodations near the Kiev airport then THIS IS YOUR HOTEL! I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again the next time I need a hotel near the Kiev Airport

“Korona_May_2011”

At the very arrival, our little kid broke two glasses in the hotel room. When we tried to pay for the damage, the personnel refused to take the money. They said that glasses were broken by a child, not intentionally, and for this reason they won't charge us. This gesture from their side impressed us! In the morning the personnel did not forget to wake us up (around 3:45 AM, as requested) - otherwise we would have missed our flight. Another pleasant surprise was the tasty breakfast which they prepared for us (the Korona hotel restaurant starts at 2 AM!). The personnel organized also our transfer to the airport at a very low price. We are very satisfied from the quality of service, and by all means we would recommend the Korona hotel to everyone who visits Ukraine.

“Excellent hotel!”

This is a nice hotel for between flights, as it is only 7 minutes from the airport. Not good as a base for a vacation as it is about 35kn from the city. Either it wasn't clear, or I missed it, but they have their own taxi, to, from the airport and city. About 1/3 the cost of airport cabs. Write down the hotel phone number before you leave! All services are 24 hrs with very friendly people. Free "continental" breakfast that filled me up, free internet in room, and computers in the lobby, if you didn't bring yours. Private bath. Floor heat makes the room a bit warm but welcome. Free cable TV with many channels in English for news, wx etc. A three star hotel that I would rate 5 stars.

“A pleasant surprise!!”

While not much to look at from the outside, this was a very nice hotel - a pleasant surprise!! The room was large and well appointed - and the restaurant was perfect for this size hotel. Wi-fi was fast and the coordination to and from the airport was flawless. The staff all spoke (at some level) English and were quite helpful. Overall - a very nice stay!!

“one night stand”

Once found this hotel was ideal for the short journey to Kiev airport. Restaurant was uninspiring , but food was OK. Choice of beer was limited to one brand. Not much to see or do around the hotel as an alternative to the facilities in-house. Shuttle bus prompt on short journry to airport. Overall, fine for an overnight stay, but a bit sparse for longer period.

“Cozy Accomodations”

Hotel is located about 7 minutes from the airport. Room was clean, very nice, very spacious. Only problem with the room was if you get the basic room priced online, the room comes without an alarm clock and phone. Food was excellent, kitchen is open 24hrs so that is nice. The only problem with the diining/kitchen is they do not speak english very well so conversations other tnan ordering food is very limited. In summary I would stay there again.

“before the flight home”

Nice little family run hotel a fraction of the cost of a Kiev city Hotel and the home cooking, if you like eastern European food as I do, is great value. Would recommend it for the night before the flight home any time.

Hotel staff helpful and nice. Spoke English. Beds old and need updating. Hot shower, cable TV. Breakfast included. Transport to airport available for a reasonable fee.
