Great location!!

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: The staff was so helpful!!
Cons: Coffee makers in the room
Location: You really will park your car and walk to everything. The location is great!
Steps away from everything. Staff was amazing, rooms are clean and beautiful views. There is some sort of shelter next door but please don't let that stop you from staying here nobody bothered us at all, we came and went at all times of the day and night. The rooms are very modern the only negative was the chair they have in the room, from a designers standpoint it looks good but the whole little sitting area is slightly awkward. They could have used a cuddle couch with a narrow coffee table to warm up the area and give it a more romantic feel, and would be more usable it would also warm up the area and make it a little less sterile.

Stay in the center of Boston

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Location: Faneuil Hall, Freedom Trail, North End, and Harbor Wharfs. Too many restaurants to list.
Great place to stay if you want to be close to all activities in Boston. It is a bit noisy. Not from the subways, but from normal big city noise. It seems to echo down the street and I think it may be around the corner from a fire station. Many sirens. It became funny at a certain point during the night. But, you can not beat the location. If you have only a short time in Boston, consider the Ames Boston Hotel.

nice surprise

Posted Sep 1, 2014
never stayed there before, got it on an expedia gamble. great location--in the middle of everything--welcoming staff. clean spacious room, well-appointed. only negatives would be non light blocking curtains on one side of the room so it it was too bright too early; and walls are a little thin--a bit noisy from other rooms and hallway. to be expected in an older building i suppose. nice bar, but there was a contemporary jazz group playing--they were good, but so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you. still, i'd stay again, but only at the sharply reduced rate i got through expedia.

Good hotel location and convenient to most sights.

Posted Aug 30, 2014
Pros: Convenient location. Easy check-in. Friendly staff.
Cons: A top sheet on the bed would have provided additional comfort.
Location: Great location, stop 5 on the trolley tour, Quincey Market and Faneuil Hall, Freedom walk, Boston Common.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt that Derek the doorman was most helpful and provided us with great service. Loved the decor and modern feel. Also loved the rainforest shower.

Great central location on the freedom trail

Posted Aug 3, 2014
This is an excellent hotel but more suitable for business types there for a short stay. Not enough closet space for vacationers. Would have been better if the bathroom had a tub (that there was a choice was not obvious at booking.
