nice surprise

never stayed there before, got it on an expedia gamble. great location--in the middle of everything--welcoming staff. clean spacious room, well-appointed. only negatives would be non light blocking curtains on one side of the room so it it was too bright too early; and walls are a little thin--a bit noisy from other rooms and hallway. to be expected in an older building i suppose. nice bar, but there was a contemporary jazz group playing--they were good, but so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you. still, i'd stay again, but only at the sharply reduced rate i got through expedia.

Pros: Convenient location. Easy check-in. Friendly staff.
Cons: A top sheet on the bed would have provided additional comfort.
Location: Great location, stop 5 on the trolley tour, Quincey Market and Faneuil Hall, Freedom walk, Boston Common.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt that Derek the doorman was most helpful and provided us with great service. Loved the decor and modern feel. Also loved the rainforest shower.

Street noise high

Street noise is very high especially with window open, and what is with all those sirens are the MDS and fire trucks siren happy and have. On other way to go? No fan in bath room, had to open window, OK With that in a way.

Location: it was a busyness trip, so I didn't have much time to look around
the hotel was great and very clean. close to store in down town. I had a good time staying in the hotel

Pros: The area it was in.
Cons: Better noise insulation from the street below.
Location: Down town area 5 min walk from quince market ,close to T Trains (SUBWAY).
Nice staff, good breakfast Easy access from airport ( Blue T Line get of at state station ) then cross the road. live music on the weekends in the bar . Close to tourists area .

Huge suite, incredibly efficient staff, well-located for business in Financial District, sight-seeing at Faneuil Hall, suburban train rides out of town, shopping and the Common.

This is an excellent hotel but more suitable for business types there for a short stay. Not enough closet space for vacationers. Would have been better if the bathroom had a tub (that there was a choice was not obvious at booking.

Not allergy friendly

Pros: The decor was very nice.
Cons: Written instructions that goes with all of the room features.
Location: In a great location. It was the main reason we chose it.
Before our trip I called the hotel to let them know about a feather issue and allergies. They confirmed with me twice it was ready for us. We were ready for bed and found out at 10PM all of the pillows and the bedding was feathers. They sent up a nice guy to help. He told us there may be no pillows for us and handed us some sheets as we waited on a bed with only 1 sheet. This hotel was very expensive. I had to change the bedding myself. The girls in the room next door were very loud most of the time there. There were loud sirens all night long. It was loud. When I tried to nego. with the night manager for a discount he gave us a breakfast and free parking. They said they could not give us a discount since it was booked through expedia. Expedia said they could have since it was not prepaid. We will not stay there again.

Nice hotel, very clean and modern.

It has a subway station in front and its relatively close to the freedom trail. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little bit small but have everything you might need on a trip.
