“Good choice in Fanniuel Hall/Downtown Crossing/Govt Center area”

The hotel is new which is always good. Located in a very central location within the financial district, although the area clears out a bit after 5:00 but remains lively towards the water and towards Quincy Market/Fanniuel Hall. If you want true 24/7 stay closer to the Back Bay. The styling is a little too avant guard, but that's not a problem. the bar/restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening although I did not have occasion to eat there myself. It was clean and comfortable, has large flat panel TVs. The rooms are not huge, and are spartanly furnished but that is part of the avant guard styling. I'd stay there again.

“Ames, A Morgans Hotel is a great modern hotel in the middle of Boston's financial district.”

Ames, A Morgans Original Hotel met my expectations. A contemporary hotel that is clean with an extremely friendly staff. The location is good and most of Boston is accessible with in a cab ride or walking. The room is ready when I arrived and the staff helped me find a couple of good local places to eat. Only down side is that I drove around the block the first time because the hotel does not have any signage. But the second time I saw the doorman. Other than that small detail a good experience had by me and my guest.

“Not your average hotel”

If you like your hotel to have character and little funkiness, the Ames is for you. I loved the decor from the lobby and bar area to the glass shower wall visible from the bedroom. And the location was ideal. I look forward to staying again on my next trip to Boston.

“Very Impressed”

We just returned from an amazing weekend at the Ames. The staff was very accommodating— friendly and polite, yet efficient at the same time. Nina, you made us feel so welcome- thank you. We stayed in a beautiful king room with large, arched windows that provided terrific panoramic views of the city. The room was bright and spacious, and, most importantly, very clean. The bed was more than comfortable- made it hard to get up in the morning…definitely enjoyed sleeping in! The bathroom had a huge glass shower with a great rain shower head. The location was perfect—within walking distance to many of the major landmarks and historic sites, including the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston Common, the harbor, Beacon Hill, and many more. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant, but the outdoor seating looked so inviting—a must for next time. Room service and valet were both fast and friendly. Overall, the whole experience exceed our expectations and we can’t wait to go back…don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

“We LOVED this hotel!”

My husband and I loved this hotel! It is so clean and modern and funky! The room has hardwood floors and tile, so you know it's clean, and the bed is completely covered in fresh sheets - the comforter has a new cover after each guest. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only problem was finding the hotel; because of restrictions in an historic area, there can be no sign that says hotel, so on the front of the building in small letters says "Ames." We weren't sure if we were going into an office building or what, but once inside everything was great! It is close to theaters, pubs, shopping, etc. It was a great experience all around and we plan to go back.

“Ames, A Morgan Original”

Yes! this is a beautiful hotel located right in the right place. Boston is so easily navigated but with a little help from the staff we arrived everywhere we planned to go and found sights along the way. The hotel itself is clean, modern and elegant. Our room was on the corner of the building with views of downtown and the Civic Center. The bed might have been a bit too comfortable as it was hard to get up to see the sights. I like the modern bathroom with two types of flushes on the toilet, for water conservation, and the open shower...I will be staying here again!

“Refreshing Atmosphere, Perfect Location”

A fun, comfortable hotel in a perfect downtown location. So refreshing to have young managers and staff that were no nonsense, attentive and welcoming. Rooms were spare, spacious, very modern, and with several nice touches (elegant bed throw, superb shower, wonderful wood floors...). Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was also very upscale.

“Good location”

A very nice hotel with excellent service. We asked for a quiet room and got one. Having to find hotel information on the TV was tiresome when a simple printed booklet is so much faster. The shower handles kept falling off but they did respond very quickly to our service calls and tried to fix them. Still a very nice hotel within easy walking distance to wherever you might want to be in Boston.

“Liked it”

Clean, modern, light-filled room--very comfortable. Lobby was a party at night, deserted in the morning (even by staff).
