Close to aquariumPosted Jul 29, 2015
I picked this hotel for proximity to aquarium for early whale watch tour. Took valet service 35 minutes to retrieve our car; that was disappointing considering $49 charge to valet with no other parking choice. Room was nothing more special than anywhere else. The hotel restaurant was FABULOUS.

Best Hotel Experience EverPosted Jul 27, 2015
Location: Waterfront, North End, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, Aquarium, Freedom Trail, Haymarket
We recently took my stepdaughter on a family trip to Boston to celebrate her 12th birthday. We booked through Expedia. When we checked in, the front desk attendant asked us about our trip and my wife mentioned in passing our daughter's birthday. Without even asking or expecting any sort of upgrade, the front desk attendant upgraded us to the Esther Forbes Suite. This suite, which is located on the first floor at the very end of one of the four buildings, was absolutely amazing. It had it's own living room, kitchenette/conference room, two bathrooms, and a private veranda with a perfect view of the Boston Harbor. Our stay at the Battery Wharf Hotel was the highlight of our trip, and the exceptional staff made our stay the best hotel experience we have ever had. The facilities and staff were first-class. The location is breathtaking and close to just about everything that you would want to experience while in Boston (the Waterfront, the North End, Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, the Aquarium, etc.). From now on, this hotel will be our first and ONLY choice whenever we travel to Boston.

Lovely hotel in a great locationPosted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: The location was great. The rooms were clean and room temperature was very comfortable. The hotel and rooms were well maintained. Staff was helpful.
Cons: I would have liked access to ice machines.
Location: Just a block from Little Italy and many Italian restaurants, close to Fanuel Hall, Historic sites, and and Boston cruises and trolley tours.
Lovely hotel right on the water, just a few blocks from Fanuel Hall Market Place and a Block east of Little Italy. The Rooms were clean, well appointed and hotel staff was very helpful when needed.

I wanted to stay in the harbor area.Posted Jul 25, 2015
I picked a hotel that was close to the historical area. My wife and I did an on/off trolley tour. Boston was wonderful. I will come back there again.

HelpfulPosted Jul 20, 2015
Cons: I would have like a room with 2 double beds
Location: The hotel is a little bit away from downtown but we walked the 10 to 15 minutes.
The desk staff were very helpful with recommendations for sites and dining. The valet were wonderful, they removed a piece of asphalt stuck in our brakes that we picked up going thru Boston road construction.

Cons: Better snacks on. Table in lobby with the water
Location: Great location- everything within walking distance but hotel itself was nice and quiet
Good location and easy access from airport to hotel by water taxi.

Disappointed from MNPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The towels were nice.
Cons: Staff should let you know what to expect from the hotel services upon check-in.
Location: Near many restaurants and shopping, walking distance to Paul Revere Mall and other historic sites. Partial view of the harbor.
Stayed 3 nights. Staff not helpful or informative about amenities or lack thereof. Extra charges for beverages, snacks. No vending machines or ice machine to serve self. Staff came in evening with 1/2 bucket of ice & 2 bottles of water-but not every night. Noisy-could hear people in lobby & down the hall from inside room & walking/talking outside of hotel on walkway. Someone (staff?) walked around all night long with heels clicking on hard floors. Loud Music from lobby on last night was the worst since we were getting up early next morning. Shower wasn't working right and water temperature fluctuated as well. Bed was not very comfortable unless you like a very firm mattress. Sliding doors to bathroom were noisy and disrupted sleep of other occupant of room.

ok but not one of the worlds bestPosted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: Quiet. When you check out your taxi is there within 30 seconds. Pretty convenient to the airport ( time wise, still paid 30 dollars ????)
Cons: I think they really are more like a luxury apartment building
Location: Probably good for business. Would pick the Marriott long warf or other hotel in the area of the Marriot for vacation.
Stayed here for one night. Facility is very nice . Stayed in the 5 building . There is really no one in there most of the time even though there is a concierge lounge . So when you realize that the in room coffee is perhaps the worst you ever had and walk to Starbucks , come back to the building with the coffee for your family you will need to put the coffee on the ground to open the door since you need to activate the door with the key (not a one hand deal). Also no view of anything , I could not see this on the website so beware . Would also not be attracted to the concierge lounge , does not add value at this hotel .Similar hotels much closer to the harbor activities. Paid 500 + but would rate the hotel more in the 300 value range at best. Very prompt service getting the taxi to go to the airport. Might be a great place to stay for business when the business is paying the bill but otherwise would not stay here for a fun vacation in Boston .

Cons: our magnetic key didn't work well with the elevator. Others complained about this too.
Location: Ideal if you want to be close to downtown, the harbor, north end and financial district. All are within walking distance.
We chose to stay there to celebrate our wedding anniversay. it turned out to be a perfect setting. Our room was spacious and loaded with unexpected features. The staff was attentive without being sufficating. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again and or recommend it to others. The hotel is expensive but it is worth the value.
