“Good Hotel near T”
Very nice hotel.
“A great find”
Excellent breakfast and shuttle services, ideal location for local area business.
“Good deal for the money and location”
My 2 daughters and I stayed here for one night. We asked for 2 doubles but instead got a bonus of 2 queens, so that was nice. Our room was large and comfortable. One woman at the front desk had a bit of an attitude, but a gentleman later on in the night was extremely nice and helpful. There was a free continental breakfast which was basic but good. The location of the hotel is on a busy road in the back of a parking lot, but if you're looking for a hotel close to a lot of things in Cambridge, for a good price, then I would recommend this hotel.
“Great get away and a place to do some writing!”
The hotel's amenities, particularly the breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations. I checked in to get some peace and quiet and to finish writing an article. The only annoying aspect was the smoking of both cigarettes and weed all through the hotel, even outside the hotel. I was on the fourth floor and had my window open and wafts of smoke would come in. Also, there seems to be a 'regular' old woman who hangs around in the lobby and tries to antagonize everyone into a debate which gets very loud and annoying. I tried to work on the Internet and she was screaming in the seating area. Besides these two annoying aspects, I was very pleased.
“Great value”
I'm a college student and therefore don't have tons of money to spend on travel, so in my opinion this hotel was a great deal. The price was reasonable, and the hotel itself was very clean, nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast and free shuttle service also helped to save additional money!
“Very satisfied”
I came for two days of work at the Harvard library. The access to the hotel was very good by the red line subway, and there was a shuttle to the subway the next day. The hotel was pleasant and the room spacious and comfortable. Wireless internet was very helpful. There was fine complimentary breakfast.
“A good deal near Boston”
All the members of the staff were friendly and very helpful, the location is excelent close to the city of Boston and several nice restaurants around. The room was nice, the hair dryer didn't work but everything else was perfect including breakfast.
“try it, you'll like it”
The hotel is easy to locate--not always so in the Boston area--the staff friendly and efficient, and the included breakfast had something for everyone.
“Complete remodel is very well done!”
I stayed in this hotel in 2006 and enjoyed it quite a bit, so I chose it again for my recent stay. To my surprise, both the hotel and surrounding area have undergone a very nice upgrade! Just about everything in the hotel appears to have been completely remodeled and is very attractive. Gone are the complimentary leopard-print bathrobes, but I didn't miss them too much. It was very nice to have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room, though it was lacking an in-room safe. The hotel now has a Starbucks attached to it and is next door to a Dunkin' Donuts (my favorite coffee) and a good family style Italian restaurant. Directly behind it is a Whole Foods shopping center complete with a 10-screen movie theatre, liquor store, and other conveniences, with additional centers across the street with drugstores, restaurants, etc. It's far enough from Harvard Square to be outside of the craziness generally found there, but close enough (2 miles?) to be very convenient to it. And the Alewife T station is just an 8-minute walk if you prefer public transit. All in all, I'd recommend this hotel and I'd stay here again.
“Excellent!”
It was an excellent experience staying at Tria! The service was good and the room was nice!
