A brilliant start to our holiday
Posted Jan 13, 2013
Pros: Everything!
Cons: No breakfast option with the booking
Location: Excellent for the 'hop on hop off bus, waterfront and freedom trail
We booked this Hotel through the Secret saver scheme and obtained an extremely good price for two rooms for three nights! The Hotel is of a very high standard. Impressive from the doorman meeting you through to the Housekeeping staff. Our rooms, which were to be expected at the price we paid, looked over the city rather than the harbour but nevertheless were spacious well equipped, well presented and to a very high standard. We were on a room only basis and choose to eat in one of the nearby coffee shops. A brilliant start to our holiday!!

Nice. Service should have been better @ this price
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Room was excellent.
Cons: Some service was rude.
It seemed nice enough until a bellman rudely asked to see my key the first night when I was going back up to my room from the restaurant. It really put me off the rest of my stay. Additionally, service at the seafood restaurant was insanely slow, as in myself and some tables near me didn't see anyone for 10-15 minutes. They served me a free drink and apologized but I would have expected better for the price.

Location: Great location right on the Boston Harbor waterfront
Excellent hotel. Everything from check in to the turn down service to having a crib ready for my daughter upon arrival was to notch. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay over a Memorial day weekend celebrating my husband's birthday - it was just as fabulous this year as last - we had a spectacular harbor view room - we plan on making this an annual event -

The Boston Harbour Hotel - the complete hotel!!
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming.
Location: Excellent!! It is close to all attractions. Mind you, the city is perhaps the most walkable city I have ever visited.
The Boston Harbour Hotel is a wonderful hotel. It is ideally located and the staff are so very accommodating. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It did much to complement the beautiful city that Boston is; I will be recommending this hotel, and the city, to all my friends here in Sydney, Australia.

Five stars all around

My mother and I stayed over the Easter weekend and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The desk staff, particularly Charles, went out of their way to ensure we had a room that was appropriate and at night it was such a treat to come in to the sound of classical music, with slippers and water set out by the bed. The only hiccup: a waiter had to be pulled out of the dining room to escort me to the room with a glass of wine I bought at the bar because in Massachusetts you can't have alcohol in a public space, including the hotel lobby.

We were in Boston for the Marathon and unfortunately the bombing. What you should know about the room is that even though we faced the city, we didn't hear the sirens from our room. Also the double curtains blocked the flashing lights. The room was large and so was the bathroom. If your arriving from Logan airport, take the water taxi over. It goes right to the door of the Boston Harbour hotel and is half the price of a cab and ten times the view. They offer coffee tea and fruit in the lobby in the morning. We choose to have breakfast which was delicious with a view of the harbour. Staff is super friendly and the Hotel is super clean.
