Buckminster and Fenway Park complement Each Other

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location, classiness, friendliness were all very present at this hotel.
Cons: Its an old hotel and could use a bathroom update or remodelling.
Location: A very short walk to Fenway Park, the Cask & Flagon, the Boston Beer Works, Uno's Pizzeria, etc.
A great and reasonable place to stay if you're in town for a visit to Fenway Park1

An overnight and an upgrade

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: I liked the price, the location, and the restaurant.
Location: Fenway Park is across the street. I had never been, so that was a real treat!
This was my first time at the Buckminster. I arrived late and tired and without my luggage for an overnight business trip, and the woman at the front desk graciously upgraded me to a suite. I got a toothbrush and several packets of toothpaste with my room keys.

Location at Kenmore Square

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Fenway Park.
Cons: The furniture in the room was in very bad, beat-up shape. The bedside lamps did not functiion properly.
Location: Very close to Fenway Park and across the street from Boston University. Location is very good.
Stayed at this hotel because as advertised, it is very close to the Green Line "T" subway and a very short walk to Fenway Park.

Nice hotel in heart of boston

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Stayed for two nights to attend a con. Inside was pretty, very old looking but in a vintage way. Had to ask the front desk to repair the microwave, and several other things were broken that we didn't ask to repair (thermostat, tv, shower) cause it wasn't worth the trouble. Beds were not comfortable at all. We did get a cool room layout though, with two separate rooms joined by a little hallway and a big bathroom. Overall we enjoyed the stay, and I would reccomend this hotel.

very convenient to fenway, boston university

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Visiting child at Boston University for the weekend. No frills, but very pleasant. Great location for Fenway Park, House of Blues, Boston University. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back with no hesitation. Would not be able to comment on business facilities or usefulness to stay for a business trip, but for enjoying Boston for a recreational trip it was excellent.
