Great location for city

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Hotel, location and room were perfect. What was lacking was adequate staff for on site Champion restaurant and connexion lounge. The waitstaff was nice enough but the time to deliver food drinks bill was long. Same with valet device. Cheaper and faster to self park. Hotel should have more staff to accomodate guests even at peak times.

A really nice hotel with terrible elevators

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was great.
Cons: The elevators were horrible.
Location: Attached to the T, the mall and the convention center. Close to lots of restaurants, bars etc. Copley place is a really good location in Boston.
Rented two rooms for my family on New Year's Eve. My family consists of me and my three college age children and one of thier friends. We drove up from CT for Boston's first night activities. The Hotel is located right in a mall and is attached to the convention center where many activities took place. Copley square is a great location and the hotel has the Back Bay T station connected as well. This made the hotel a perfect destination for navigating around the city for the various First Night venues. The check in through the elite line was quick and efficient. The receptionist was friendly and very professional. She gave us side by side rooms on the 20th floor with a decent view. All staff we encountered were very helpful. The parking was expensive, about $70 for a day and a half but to be expected in Boston. The hotel has a new elevator system which was completly overwhelmed by the crowds on New Year's Eve. There was several delays on New Year's Eve of 5 to 10 minutes but on the New Year's Day at 11:30 am we could not get from the 20th floor to the lobby. We tried for 30 minutes Evelvators stoped at the floor every 10 mins but were completly full. We ended up walking down the 19 flights of stairs with are luggage. There were lots of very frustrate customers besides us. I don't know if this was caused by the new system or if there just isn't enough elevators when the hotel is full. I wouldn't stay here again on New Years because of the elevator situation.

Thanks for providing feedback on your recent stay with us. My apologies for the delays with the elevators. We are close to finishing the upgrade to our Guest Elevators that when complete will enhance the speed and service to the guestrooms. I’ve reviewed your comments regarding trolley information with my Concierge Leader so she can revisit training and accuracy of this information with the team. I hope this information is helpful as we look forward to an opportunity to welcome you back to a better experience Bob Campbell Hotel Manager

New Year's Adventure

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Television and phone, internet service was not the quality I expected from this level of a hotel.
Hotel was in an excellent location. We were able to walk across the street to the subway, coffee shops, history, and the most awesome shopping!

Hotel elevators have been 'updated' and are problematic. We waited for extended times & there are no buttons INSIDE the elevator so if you (finally) get in an elevator & forgot something in the room, you are riding to 1 and then waiting again for a new elevator back to your "destination". Location in BOS is great but the elevator situation would make me consider a different hotel.

hotel in good position, for tube and shopping

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Its position
Cons: check in staff could be a little more welcoming, and helpful
Location: shops and site near by everything else within walking distance
Try the buffet breakfast as children only pay $5.95 for good valve for money, the rooms our a little small for a family.
