Regular Boston visitor

Pros: The elevator system.
Cons: The wifi was supposed to be available in certain locations of the hotel, though I was never able to log on for any of the three days/nigh I was there.
Location: Good location. Skywalk to the Prudential and Star market across the street are convenient.
It would be preferable to me to have in room wifi rather than a TV. Maybe you could start offering that option?

The hotel is beautiful and huge. Has a lot of things to do nearby, like shops, market, mall. Very clean and neat.

My room was across from the elevator and I could hear it all night. Fitness facilities were very nice, staff was friendly and hotel was conveniently located.

excellent choice

Pros: bar area, room with a view, elevators, pool area, staff.
Location: right across from the prudential center, for the skywalk and top of the hub and shopping. duck tours right across the street. close to the train.
this hotel is well located. it is huge, with many amenities. nice bar, huge pool and hot tub facility. the room is quite adequate, with comfortable bedding. the room is quiet. we asked for a room on a higher floor, which made for a most pleasant stay. had a fabulous harbor view. although the bathroom is pretty small, it is well designed and comfortable to use. the hotel staff was wonderful. especially vivian, who saw us to our room. she was helpful in so many ways. took extra time to see to all of our needs/requests. the concierge was also helpful with regard to travel and restaurants. valet parking went very smoothly. the elevator system is wonderful. quick access to the floors chosen, with almost no stops in between. would definitely stay again.

Never again

Very rude front desk staff. Room in poor condition considering cost of nearly $400/night. Expensive wifi. This is the 21 century...charging for wifi? Sheesh. Old beat-up furniture looked like it came from a flea market.

Convenient to the city

Posted May 25, 2015
We were only there for the day to see a Red Dix game with our two daughters and fiancee. The access was easy and convenient to the highway and ball park. The Prudential Center was across the street. Check in was fast the rooms were spacious and clean. We were able to walk to the park but took the T back. The T stop is about 4 blocks away. restaurants looked a little pricey but there are some good restaurants in walking distance. We would stay here again.

Decent hotel, good location and expensive.

Pros: I liked the fact that it's very accessible by walking from everything nearby to Boston Commons, Back Bay and downtown.
Cons: Replace mattress (it's old and sunken) and don't put on plastic mattress pad.
Location: Just about everything is accessible from this centrally located hotel. Copley Square is 1 1/ 2 blocks away for the subway, bus and I-95.
Pretty good place to stay. The only negative thing is that the beds were somewhat old and sunken in on each side of center and the hotel used a padded mattress pad on a plastic sheet and made it somewhat uncomfortable. Lots of good restaurants in the area, places to shop and things to see, like Copely Square, Trinity Church, Old South Church, Back Bay, Boston Commons and Gardens. All within easy walking distance.
