Long waits at check-in and elevatorsPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Room service was great. Speedy, efficient and prices were reasonable.
Only one person to handle all check-ins at peak check-in time. 20 minute+ waits at elevators.

Thank you for staying with us. I am sorry that there was only one host at the desk when you checked in- this is quite unusual. I have shared your comments with my staff. I am also sorry that you had to wait longer than usual for the elevators. We are currently engaged in an elevator modernization project which, when complete, will outfit us with one of the most modern and efficient systems in the Boston area, I apologize that you may had to wait a bit longer than normal. Thank you again for staying with us. It was our pleasure to host you. All the best.

Nicest hotel staff I have encountered!Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Location is great, rooms are clean and nicely and seemingly newly decorated. Friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: Elevators --
Location: Walk the Freedom Trail to see Paul Revere's house, the old north church. Boston Harbor is beautiful Shopping in the mall or along Newbury street
I can't say enough wonderful things about our weekend stay -- all the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was busy, busy since it was a big sports weekend in town and on TV -- the staff at Champions Bar went above and beyond to accomodate everyone who wanted to watch the Final Four. They opened new rooms, and set up more chairs and kept the drinks and snacks coming very efficiently. In advance of our stay, I called for an early check in and mentioned that it was an important anniversary. The management was so kind to accomodate our check in and upon our arrival we were treated to a bottle of wine. Such a nice touch.

I like the hotel since it is close to ConventionPosted Mar 25, 2014
My experience at hotel was great. The room is pretty big for four to five people. The bathroom is nice. The hotel is really close to the Hynes Convention. I just need to walk through the bridge to cross into the mall. Now the downside is that the room Wifi is not free. I have to pay $12.95 per hour to use it. The bathroom door is a bit hard to lock. Otherwise these tiny negative issues, I really like the hotel. I will come back for next year. I like the touch screen function for the elevators. I also think the card scan in the room is awesome.

Worst ever hotel elevators and bedsPosted Mar 23, 2014
Terrible beds. Elevators took forever waited over 15 minutes twice and always at least 5 minute wait. Room very noisy cause of fans in adjacent roof
Jan 26, 2014
Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to complete the customer satisfaction survey. I would like to apologize for the less than satisfactory experience you recently had at our hotel. Your comments concerning the beds have been addressed with our staff. I can assure you corrective action is being taken on the issue. I have also share your comments pertaining to the long wait for elevators and the noisy fan adjacent to the roof with the appropriate departments. Thank you again for taking the time to share your comments with us. Your patronage of Marriott Hotels and Resorts is appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Great Hotel close to the T. No need to drivePosted Mar 6, 2014
Cons: The ELEVATORS!!! Not sure what the story is what the elevators but despite having more than 6 on any level it still took a while for them to come.
Location: TD Garden, Quincy Market, Restaurants/ bars were all within walking distance or a short ride on the T.
The front desk staff, restaurant staff and bell boys were very friendly and welcoming.
Not worth your money!!!Posted Feb 18, 2014
Couldn't sleep because of the noise coming from the closet?? Explanation from the hotel stuff: "Due to pressure pipes going through the floors"!!!! All they offers was earplugs. Don't recommend at all. Parking another problem, every time you need your car you have to pay first. No way to get a day pass so you can go in and out as you wish. Elevators also take ages to stop at your floor.

Nice Hotel.Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and the mall being attached was nice.
Cons: Elevators. We spent a lot of time waiting on an elevator to go both down to lobby and back up to room.
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to public transportation and the staff was very friendly. The mall being attached was another nice feature. The only thing we didn't like was having to wait for elevators.

Great view of Boston Harbor.Posted Feb 16, 2014
We chose this hotel because it was convenient to Emerson College and the Expedia package made it affordable. good experience. there is an au bon pain shop in the adjoining mall for a less expensive breakfast than the hotel restaurant.

I've staid at the Marriott Copley Place many times and have never been disappointed. It's a very nice hotel in a great location in the Back Bay Area of Boston. Definitely recommend!
