convenient to all our points of interest

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: location and overall quality
Cons: allow my Marriott Rewards credit regardless that it was booked and paid thru Expedia. After all, I chose to use Marriott and ultimately paid for it.
Location: good location for our objectives, i.e. near city center and transportation, but slightly removed from the more intense traffic.
great .... not much more to say. Convenient, very good quality facility, excellent service.

First room was dirty.

Posted Sep 11, 2014
Arrived at 5:30 am to a dirty bad odor room. Picked up phone and it was greasy, gross. When I spoke to front desk and asked for manager she was not sympathetic although she moved us. Always loved this place past visits. I think the rooms are tired now. Location is great, the only reason I would return.

Great Location!

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Loved its convenient location especially being just across the street from Quincy Market for fresh bagels in the morning
We stayed at long wharf for only one night but it was a very good looking hotel, the rooms very comfy and the location was perfect. Every thing we wanted to see was with in walking distance and the water is right in your front yard.

Great Hotel in the heart of Boston

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: location, cleanliness and comfort, helpful staff
Near Quincy Market/Fanieul Hall, easy walk to the North End for great Italian food, close to the Aquarium and the ferry to Logan Airport. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, there was no grumbling overheard, no inattention. They were all happy to do what they could for you. I was travelling alone so had a room with one king bed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and pillows were pristine and inviting. If there was any small inconvenience, it would have been that, if there had been two of us, the bathroom would have been a little small to handle cosmetic, travel bags, wet towels, etc for two. (However, I imagine a room with two beds may very well have a larger bathroom.) I requested and got a room on the lobby floor which was great because there was no need to use an elevator. The room was not close to any activity so it was quiet even though on the lobby floor. Overall I was extremely happy with my choice!

Right on the harbor and absolutely gorgeous hotel!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: the staff and the room
Cons: not a thing.
Location: right on the harbor, The New England Aquarium and Faneuil Hall Marketplace are right there!
The receptionist that checked us in was so pleasant and helpful. We were allowed to check in early at noon, which was wonderful! The room was big and clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had the buffet breakfast on Sunday which had lots of choices and was delicious. When we checked out, they held our luggage and allowed us to keep our car in the parking garage until 6 pm! If we ever come back to Boston we will absolutely stay here! It was a wonderful place to stay!

The hotel was crowded. The Concierge Room was over populated with many kids and people. Staff could not keep up with flow...

Everything was perfect

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, affordability, location was great, staff excellent
Location: Location was perfect for us and lots of shopping and restaurants
The whole Marriott Long Wharf experience was wonderful. Such a great location. I would never stay in another hotel in Boston other than the Marriott Long Wharf. The entire staff was wonderful and our breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay longer the next time.
