“Would stay there again when in Boston”

Excellent! We had a great view of the Harbor with the activities of the wharf and could watch the vendors and shoppers below, as well as view the Aquarium and spotted the dolphins in their tank. Great assortment of pillows too!

“Great hotel but showers need more water pressure”

Everything and everyone were terrific with the exception of the showers. They definately could have used more water pressure.

“Enjoyed our stay”

We were only there for one night but were very comfortable there. The hotel is in an incredible location and it is a typical upscale Marriott hotel. We would be happy to go there again.

“Boston's most convenient hotel”

This hotel was in an excellent location for visiting Fanuel Hall and the Freedom Trail, adn to spend a leisurly day in the North End. We took the train up and it was a walkable distance from the train station. No car needed! Our room was ready upon arrival at 11AM which made it easy for us to park our bags. The next day we were able to check our bags until our departure later on that day. Excellent time!

“I wish I could live at this hotel!”

I checked in early and had to check out a little late (b/c I couldn't find my check card in the room!) with absolutely no qualms from the staff. Normally I would probably be asked to wait or hurry, but this Marriott staff was not only extremely accommodating but were still the friendliest Marriott staff I have ever encountered. Even our housekeeper was very friendly...happy even! (This Marriott should be the training center for all of the other Marriott's!!!) Our flight was 3 hours after check-out time, and when we checked out the staff was already preparing to keep our bags for us until we had to catch our flight. Plus, the hotel is beautiful and in the heart of Boston. We walked everywhere we went. If I go back to Boston I am staying at this Marriott for sure. And, just to put things in perspective, I am not an avid Marriott fan. Most of the time I am disappointed with the cost of the room versus the staff and amenities. We also got a great deal on the room through Expedia. It was actually one of the lesser expensive hotels, and after my great experience, I would consider the rates to be cheap!

“Perfect place to take out of town guests”

I can't say too many good things about the location. It is a short walk to the North End for dinner, close enough even for a 9:55 run to Mike's Pastry. We walked to the beginning of the Freedom Trail and then took the ferry back to the hotel from Old Ironsides. On a rainy day we walked next door to go to the aquarium and then to IMAX. Even walking back from Beacon Hill wasn't too far.. and this was at the end of the week. As far as the hotel, it's a standard Marriott. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I will mention that the beds were very comfortable; they were complete with down comforters.
