“Beautiful hotel”
I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel looked exactly how it did in the pictures and felt very grande. I stayed in a basic double room and found it to be cosey and very clean. The recpetion staff were really pleasant. Worth the money!
“Great hotel and great location!”
We loved the hotel, the staff, and the boston creme pie martinis!
“My Favorite Boston Hotel”
Whenever I travel to Boston (Business or Pleasure), this is my only choice of hotel. The hotel is filled with history, unsurpassed service and a fantastic location.
“Great service in a classic hotel”
Choosing a classic hotel over newer construction can mean some sacrifice: smaller rooms and less view, for instance. This is the case with the Parker House, but it's worth it to feel part of an institution. There's nothing sterile or boring about the place and the service was excellent. The room was a great value for downtown. Next time, I'm going to try the suite.
“History, Location & Ambiance”
The Parker House is an historical landmark located in the central financial district, near the Commons and on the "Freedom Trail". As an older hotel the rooms are a bit smaller, the elevators a bit slower, etc., but in general the place is very accomodating, well appointed and wholly satisfactory. It's a great location for reaching the financial district, Faneuil Hall, the Commons, state house, etc. Even the restaurants in the North End are readily accessible with a short walk.
“Nice Hotel”
I highly recommend this hotel. It is very convenient to everything.
“Would definitely return to this hotel.”
The Omni Parker House Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. We arrived just before noon but the reception staff were very accomodating and allowed us to check in early. The room was very quiet and comfortable. I had a very good nights sleep and woke up refreshed. We ate breakfast in the hotel dining room and chose the breakfast buffet. It was excellent. The quality and choice of food was first class, as was the attentiveness of the wait staff. We had a few drinks at the bar in the evening but were a little disappointed that a wedding party had reserved most of the seats. we felt like we were intruding on a private party so we left and went to a bar outside of the hotel. Our overall summary would be" A great hotel. Rooms very comfortable although small, but as the hotel is in a city you kind of expect the rooms to be on the small side. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others." Next time we return we are going to try to schedule time with the hotel's dog, and take her for a walk.
“A Wonderful Experience”
This is a beautiful historic hotel with character; the staff was great, the room lovely, and dining marvelous. The whole experience of touring in Boston was improved because of this delightful hotel and its staff.
“Great Place”
It's a beautiful historic hotel with amazing service. Loved everything, and didn't mind the small rooms (it's an old hotel)I don't need room to do gymnastics. If you stay at an Omni, sign up for their free customer loyalty program. Just for signing up you get two beverages of your choice, and the newspaper of your choice delivered to your door every morning at the time of your choosing. Much easier to face jetlag with a pot of coffee and the NY Times. Definitely check out the hotel bar, The Last Hurrah, very classic.
“Hotel is an excellent 'Old Boston Hotel'”
I recommend Boston Omni Parker to anyone wishing to stay 'downtown Boston'. Boston Omni Parker is an old Boston hotel and as such the rooms are quaint and small but this hotel is extremely well maintained. If a large, spacious room is not a requirement, Boston Omni Parker is a good choice. An excellent location for seeing Boston.
