Nice hotel

Nice hotel in great location. The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean. The only downside is the walls were thin and you can hear those in the next room.

Not your Father's Parker House, unfortunately.

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Dismal, poorly lit lobby and hallways. Needs a design overhaul. Old, cold, drafty windows in bathroom.
Location: Great location in the Financial District
Great Financial District location, but the hotel is desperately in need of a makeover.

Beautiful lobby in a great area, but....

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Lobby is gorgeous, great area.
Cons: Not sure how to soundproof the walls, but if there was a way....
Location: Walking distance to Quincy Market and environs - fun area.
Our room had an overpowering smell of room freshener - very chemical and overwhelming. I was placed in one room and could hear not only the voices of my neighbor, but also the person's voice on the other end of his phone call. We were moved to a quieter part of the hotel, but were still able to hear the voices from neighboring rooms very clearly. I'm not generally a picky hotel guest - I've NEVER asked to be moved to a different room before. This was perfectly adequate and the staff was very friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Boston on the coldest day of the year!

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Everthing.
Cons: As noted above, I had to pay for my wireless, even though that service is free for members of their frequent stay program.
Location: ON business.
The Omni Parker house was great, the hotel was definitely a 4.5 to 5 star experience. I would stay there again, though since I booked through Expedia, I had to pay for my WiFi, couldn't use my frequent stay card for that. Some how that should be looked at and figured out.

It was ok

Posted Jan 12, 2015
We stayed in a tiny room with tiny (full) bed with barely any room to pass around the bed. Room was clean enough but the shower was not draining properly, which killed the feeling of clean in the bathroom. No free internet and no overall sense that the stay was nice. just OK.

Nice hotel with a great location

Posted Jan 5, 2015
The staff was excellent. The room was smaller than I expected, but worked well for an overnight. Close to the Common and Faneuil Hall.

good two day get away to see sights in Boston

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, history of hotel.
Cons: We didn't like the view of a wall, but I hardly see how that could be improved.
Our experience with hotel staff was quite good, starting with dropping our car to be parked, checking in, help to the room and interaction with the cleaning staff. Oh, and the hotel bar staff, too.

Great central location

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Pros: The friendliness and charm
Cons: n/a
Location: Also highly recommend the Old Town Trolley buses for getting about town and the Boston Tea Party exp. good fun. The rail network is easy to use.
The Boston Omni Parker is a great hotel in a good central location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were slightly on the small side compared to other American hotels - but this hotel had lots of charm, warm and welcoming factors that it didn't matter.

Nice location, just an okay hotel.

This hotel was okay. It felt dated not historic with a modern twist. In no way luxurious. Location was great. Within walking distance to major sites. Staff was very friendly.

Great hotel close to the centre of Boston

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: Everything
From the moment you walk into the Omni Parker hotel you feel like you are entering a high quality hotel, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the room we had was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The food on a Sunday evening in the Parker bar is delicious. It is very centrally located on the freedom trail close to the heart of Boston, loved our stay there.
