Good location in Boston

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Expensive but good value
Cons: NA
Location: Good - access to most attractions within walking distance.
Enjoyed service and friendliness - we were lucky and had good weather - we ate out each night to enjoy what Boston had to offer. Rooms very comfortable and enjoyed room facilities. Boston is a great place to visit.

Disappointing

Posted Sep 28, 2014
I had booked a queen bed room and the bed was actually a double bed size. The room was tiny and was located in an area where street noise was heard throughout the night. To pay over $400 for this type of room was absolutely horrible and unacceptable. I did speak to the manager and he gave me his supervisor's card to make contact regarding my concerns.

Interesting historical hotel close to two subways.

Posted Sep 27, 2014
Pros: The ambiance and general air of professional pride in the place.
Cons: Provision of a cheaper option for small breakfasts, especially being able to get cereal, fruit and toast without having to buy the buffet breakfast.
Location: Subways take you to all the museums. The Faneuil market is a short walk, as is Boston Common. The Provincetown ferry is a must.
Thanks to the location I was able to see all the places of interest that I planned to. Even though downtown I didn't notice noise at night.

An excellent hotel in Boston

Posted Sep 25, 2014
Pros: The hotel was conveniently located on the Boston Heritage Trail. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious.
We have just returned from Boston where we had an excellent stay in the Omni Parker House Hotel. We cannot fault any aspect of the stay. The room was comfortable and clean and the food was delicious.

Boston City Break

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Good central location, Old Boston style decor.
Cons: Attitude of bar staff especially in the Last Hurrah Bar, experienced a rude bar man who refused to serve cocktails as it was near to closing time.
Location: Opposite City Hall and within walking distance to Boston Common
Spent 3 nights in Boston from the 18th September. Flight was with Delta Airlines and the outbound was well organised and professional. Arrived in the afternoon and took a taxi to hotel which was Aprox 15 minutes away. On arrival at the Boston Omni Parker we were greeted by professional staff and within minutes we were settled in our room which was on the small side but adequate. Took a trolley tour which was interesting and included a free harbour cruise which we could use on an other day which was good. The city is compact and had an array of bars and restaurants although too many Irish ones for my liking as towards the end of the stay it was becoming a challenge to find something which offered anything different. The Freedom Trail and Boston Tea Party is a must and would recommend a trip to Salem if you are interested in the witch theories!! We hired a car to Provincetown which took a few hours but was well worth the drive. Overall a lovely city break and would definitely recommend going mid September as the colours are beginning to change and are spectacular!

Nice older Hotel Center of Town

You won't get any Select Guest reward points and they put you in a room with a tiny window. Its unfortunate but they make you feel like a 2nd rate guest when checking-in with an Expedia booking.
