오래된 그냥 무난한 호텔

Posted Apr 26, 2015

comfortable pre-flight night's stay.

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Convenient, clean
Cons: They are doing minor improvements so there are workmen available
Location: This was an overnight stay before flying.
Easy location, helpful valet parking, thoughtful, courteous staff. Breakfast was delicious and timely.

Good location, rundown hotel

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Remodel
At check in we were given a room, we came in the room and other guest´s stuff was still there…. The rooms are very outdated and noisy, we could hear the elevator going up and down, other guest talking next door and down the hallway.

Awesome

They have almost finished renovation. The bar is amazing. Strip Steakhouse in lobby one of best in Boston. The fitness center compares to Equinox. A full service huge fitness facility. A boutique historic hotel catering classy people. Highly recommend. Perfect location.

THIS PLACE IS A DUMP!

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Cons: NEEDS A TOTAL MAKEOVER...APPEARS NOTHING'S BEEN DONE TO IMPROVE THINGS FROM THE OLD STATLER HOTEL DAYS 40 YEARS AGO.
Location: N.A.
THE BOSTON PARK PLAZA IS A SLEAZY, NOISY, GRITTY DUMP WITH ROOMS SO SMALL YOU CAN BARELY SQUEEZE IN TO THE BATHROOM. GROSSLY OVERDUE FOR ROOM PAINT AND RE-DECORATING, AND SERIOUS ROOM COST REVISION. THRONGS OF TOUR BUS TYPE CUSTOMERS NOISILY TIPPLING IN THE LOBBY, WITH SLOPPY-LOOKING STAFF ON DUTY.

Sifting styles

Posted Apr 24, 2015
The Park Plaza is in the midst of a renovation from classic Americaca motif to hipster black/white/grey modern. It feels a bit schizophrenic right now. The renovated lobby is a bit stark and lobby lounge is too brightly lit. The unrenovated hallways and rooms (like mine) definitely need renewal, but the room was spacious and clean, and the bed comfy.

great location poor room

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Honor request for 2 queens or a king. Eliminate rooms that are too small to be comfortable.
Location: Everything you would like to do in Boston and vicinity
Booked through Expedia, room was much too small for two people. No offer to upgrade explained by the fact that Expedia was used to book room. Queen bed, wanted two queens or king. Bathroom was so small couldn't turn around in it with door closed.

Great location, dated rooms

Stayed here for Boston Marathon. Location was great for runners. Hotel was steps from buses to start and the finish line. Rooms are very small and basic. It appears that they will be updating soon.
