The location can't be beat. Directly across the street from Faneuil Hall/ Quincy Market, and two blocks to the Aquarium and boats. Restaurants are everywhere. A street market sets up on the sidewalk in front of the hotel, (directly under the front rooms) with fresh fruit and veggies. So it's a fun, busy, active area. The hotel itself has a funky, smallish, trendy lobby, then the rooms surprised us by being quite large, beautifully appointed, and very elegant. Some of the rooms have a cute "Juliet" balcony with French doors and flower baskets. There is even a little dressing room area with a vanity and closet off the bathroom that women will immediately claim as their territory! Nice, upscale (but expensive) restaurant attached. Not much of a bar area but a glass of wine can be gotten and enjoyed easily enough, before heading out on the town. All Boston hotels are expensive but this one was less than similar hotels in the area. The only negative is the same reason it's a positive… it's on a busy street, right next to Faneuil Hall. On a hopping Saturday night, there is definitely some street noise their windows and the balcony doors just can't block out. (Maybe bring earplugs if you are light sleeper and there on a weekend.) But overall, we were very pleased with our decision to stay here and would definitely stay here again.
