Pros: The restaurant was very good. The chef was hard working.
Cons: A significant decrease in the price of the room
Room was very small to include bathroom. There was only a shower and no bath tub. Had direct TV and not cable, so selection of TV programs limited. Sparsely furnished. Hotel staff was excellent.

Affordable hotel in South EndPosted Sep 30, 2014
Loved everything about this hotel: staff, location, decor but we stayed 5 nights and our sheets were never changed. The Trophy Room Bar and restaurant downstairs was also a big plus. Be aware that breakfast on the weekend finishes at 9 a.m.

Chandler Inn-BostonPosted Sep 30, 2014
Cons: New beds!
Great Boutique Hotel, great locations. The only reason for the lower room comfort score is that the bed was pretty bad; it dipped down in the middle to the point where you could help but roll into each other; good thing I really like my fiancee ;) and you could feel springs....other than that the room was great. Like many boutique hotels it's not for people who favor chain hotels; I like different/hip/hotels. The staff was great, all the way around!

Budget hotel in good locationPosted Sep 25, 2014
Hotel has all the basics for a good nights sleep. I was travelling by myself and had a king bed. The room was comfortable. Hotel is in good location and very close to Back Bay station.

Location: You can walk to most anything. The T is two blocks away and fab coffee is around the corner at the Berkley Perk!

Pros: Staff, Location, low traffic zone.
Cons: Mini-fridge in room.
Location: South End. Restaurants, bars, all South End outings. Absolutely great.
Free parking in the street right in front during the week-end, as suggested by the staff. Very interesting. Location is the key, great neighborhood in South End.

Great stay at a great location!Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, bed.
Location: Restaurants, expressway, bars and pubs, local sights.
The Chandler was a gem. It is located very close to downtown, within walking distance from bars, restaurants, and landmarks. The staff was incredibly nice, and the restaurant / bar was modern and fun. The rooms were also very modern and clean, and the beds super comfortable.
