Nice hotel

Posted Oct 13, 2014
This is a lovely boutique hotel, a little further away from down town Boston than I would have liked however Boston isn't a huge city and nothing was ever too far away. The room was small but sufficient for 2 tourist that was out all day sightseeing, it was clean modern and the staff very friendly, a complimentary continental was a nice way to start the day.

Old hotel. No closet. Fairly good location

First room we checked into had issues with the bed creaking. Had our luggage moved to a new room but staff failed to move a bag with a cookie in it. But that's okay

Nice hotel, well placed to visit

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Hotel on a corner street, in walkable distance to Backbay subway, close to nice restaurants on Tremont. Hotel was clean with comfortable bed. I had corner room and it was a little noisy. Only drawback: breakfast in open until 9 am on weekends which is not convenient if you want to sleep-in, but open til 10 am on weekdays.

Pros: The restaurant was very good. The chef was hard working.
Cons: A significant decrease in the price of the room
Room was very small to include bathroom. There was only a shower and no bath tub. Had direct TV and not cable, so selection of TV programs limited. Sparsely furnished. Hotel staff was excellent.

Affordable hotel in South End

Loved everything about this hotel: staff, location, decor but we stayed 5 nights and our sheets were never changed. The Trophy Room Bar and restaurant downstairs was also a big plus. Be aware that breakfast on the weekend finishes at 9 a.m.

Chandler Inn-Boston

Cons: New beds!
Great Boutique Hotel, great locations. The only reason for the lower room comfort score is that the bed was pretty bad; it dipped down in the middle to the point where you could help but roll into each other; good thing I really like my fiancee ;) and you could feel springs....other than that the room was great. Like many boutique hotels it's not for people who favor chain hotels; I like different/hip/hotels. The staff was great, all the way around!

Budget hotel in good location

Hotel has all the basics for a good nights sleep. I was travelling by myself and had a king bed. The room was comfortable. Hotel is in good location and very close to Back Bay station.

Perfect location.

Pros: Love the location and quaintness of our hotel. Great little bar to end your evening.
Location: You can walk to most anything. The T is two blocks away and fab coffee is around the corner at the Berkley Perk!
Love Love Love Boston. Easy walking city with friendly people, great history and architecture.
