Fantastic Location, Fantastic Stay

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Close to T stop, clean, comfortable, great and friendly staff, relaxing bar area.
We checked in late in the evening, and thankfully this hotel was very easy to find (less than a 2 minute walk from a T stop). Our room was tidy, with soft jazz playing as we entered the room. Very nice space, comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast in the morning was simple, but it was enough to hold us over until lunch. Great check out time of noon, so there was no rushing to get out in the morning. Overall, great stay.

Outstanding boutique hotel in the heart of Copley. Close to everything, safe, and spotless. Breakfast was simple, but the bagels were fresh and the coffee delicious. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Our experience at Charlesmark was fabulous! We would absolutely stay there again! The rooms were super clean and boutique-y. Front desk staff was beyond helpful and made our stay very pleasant!

A little hotel with a lot of value

Posted Dec 22, 2014
Pros: Comfort, facilities, staff, location, price
Cons: Pillows could be a little firmer
Location: Brilliant. Newbury just a street away and a T station much closer than that. Boutiques, restaurants, cafes, art galleries.
A very comfortable, clean room, with a lovely bathroom. Complimentary magazines (that are actually worth reading) and lollipops. 3 newspapers available daily in the lounge. Best of all, very pleasant and obliging staff. Once I brought back a pizza and was allowed to use the microwave oven to heat it up. This budget hotel may be small, but offers a very great deal to its guests. Its location, too, is ideal: a couple of yards away from a T station and a street away from Newbury. For the price I can hardly imagine a better place.

Cons: Ran out off coffee in the morning
Convenient to all the sights of downtown Boston. Check in and out very easy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room is not real large but very comfortable and very clean.

Exceptional staff, great buzz, smallish rooms

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. The extended hours for the continental breakfast were welcome.
This hotel is a gem of the Back Bay. I dislike staying at large, charmless chain hotels, and this was a welcome change. The staff went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The hotel has a great buzz: the cocktail bar on the entrance level is hopping every evening. My room was on the small side, but that's not something I mind. The continental breakfast runs for several hours and there's always coffee on. Free WiFi throughout the hotel. I'd stay again next time I'm at a conference at the Hynes or for just an city break.

Location: This hotel is in a great location in Back Bay. Public transit is very close and there are many things to do within walking distance.
This hotel has a great location. It has continental breakfast, clean and updated rooms, and competent staff. There is a bar near the lobby. My husband and I stayed here 5 nights and had no problems. I would stay here every time I come to Boston!
