“Great location, beautiful hotel”

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Copley Square Hotel. It is conveniently located for just about anything in Boston - short walk to shopping, Fenway, public transportation, bridge to Cambridge, etc. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable and clean. No complaints at all! We did not try the restaurant or the nightclub on this visit, so I can't offer any comment on those. Boston was quite noisy the weekend we were there as it was a holiday and marathon weekend, but that is not the fault of the hotel :-)

“Everything just right, and then some”

Stayed for our 20th anniversary. Everything about the staff, facility and experience was exceptional. I made some special requests before arriving but really didn't expect them to be fulfilled -- but the staff pulled it off perfectly. Highly recommended, and I'm considered hard-to-please.

“Great location and nice hotel”

We stayed in the Copley while my daughter was competing in the Head of the Charles. it took about 20 minutes on the T to get to the Harvard stop (with one change) and then it was a ten minute walk to the river. The hotel was very nice, but the restaurant was only so so. My 9 year old son and I had breakfast there the first day; it took us an hour and fifteen minutes to get through it because of the slow service. The breakfast was good, but I couldn't get the waiter to bring me any coffee refills, even when he was walking by with the pot - it was like he didn't see my hand waving at him. It also took about 20 minutes for them to come and get my credit card so we could pay and get out. I finally walked up to them with it - they said they were understaffed, but I didn't notice other tables having the same lack of service and I had the impession it was because I was with a child. So, my overall impression was tha it would be a great hotel for adults, but they aren't overly kid friendly. It was also expensive - but apparently in line with other Boston hotels. The hotel itself was very nice and had a great location.

“Wonderful staff”

The young staff was customer oriented, helpful and friendly. Plus the wine hour provided a chance to converse with other guests about things to do and places to eat in Boston!

“Great location.”

Quick check in and check out. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the wine hour. One pet peeve - was able to hear the water running when the person in the next room showered.

“Comfort, Convenience and Character”

We needed comfortable accommodation in a location that was accessible by Boston's light rail to Harvard University and the midtown tourist spots. It was a perfect location, next to some excellent retail shopping, five minutes walk to the station, and lots of great restaurants/pubs nearby. We noticed a wide range of guests (from families to older couples and young escapees) which is a great sign. Don't expect great dining in the hotel but there are so many places nearby, who cares? Room was cosy but very comfortable and the shower/bath was tricky at first but excellent when mastered. Can't think of a nicer place to be in late September, early October :-) Could be cold in December/January .... but you are just five minutes walk from a great shopping mall. Rug up and enjoy.

“Great boutique hotel, awesome location!”

Overall, we loved our visit to the Copley Square Hotel! It's a small-ish, boutique hotel in an awesome, convenient part of town - just blocks from Newbury Street, Copley Square, T-Stations, etc. Also, it's nice to not stay in a corporate chain hotel. Loved the lobby with plush seats, Keurig coffee / hot chocolate / tea machine. The rooms are small, but it's a small price to pay for a great location and first-class bedding.

“I loved Copley Square!!!!”

Definately a must stay! Great experience, the people there were very friendly and helpful. The facility was absolutely wonderful. My husband and I were in town for a Red Sox game. Great walk to Fenway. Boston is a great city, can't wait to go back and will definately stay here again and again!

“A great find in a great area of Boston”

The hotel has a hip, updated vibe yet was affordable and unpretentious. Our only quibble was with the size of the room. This detail cannot be helped as it is an old hotel that has been refurbished. Everything other than the size of the room was to our liking.
