Great historic hotel and great location

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: Staff, location
Location: Boston Duck Tours departs from one block away, Copley Square, Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, Prudential Tower and Skydeck
We just returned from a 5-day stay at the Copley Square hotel. We were in Boston for a family vacation. The hotel is wonderful, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for all the touristy things to do. The famous Boston Duck Tours leaves from one block down the street, Copley Square is 1 block away, Boylston Street is one block over and Newbury Street is 2 blocks. Boylston and Newbury Streets have some of the best restaurants! The only very minor drawback is there are no coffee-makers or mini-bars in the rooms. However, complementary fresh coffee and tea is available from 7-10 am in the lobby and I would go and get my coffee every morning and bring it back to our room. Rooms themselves were beautiful and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Boston adventure!

Each and everyone of the employees were so helpful with every aspect in mind. They suggested great places to eat, transportation, directions, plays, shops, you name it! I bought my wedding veil and they even took care of that for me, mailed it for me so I would not have to worry about it! ( thank you Michael) the whole crew was awesome!

Great Hotel in Back Bay

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff were excellent. Everyone was very helpful and our room was always very clean.
Location: The Duck boat tours are downstairs and the 2 shopping malls and grocery store are right next door. The Skywalk is also close.
We spent 4 nights in Boston. Copley Square Hotel was a great central location to access all of the sites in Boston. There were 2 subway stations close to the hotel and we were also able to take the massport shuttle to the airport. Very convenient as we bought the 7 day Charlie Card for $19 and were able to use it for the massport too.

Good location in Back Bay

The concierge service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name but he was a young Bostonian man (blond) who truly knew his way around the city and provided us with great tips during our stay.

Perfect for a stroll to Fenway Park.

Two blocks off Boylston helps keep the price down. Hotel is a three block walk from the subway. An easy 25 minute walk to Fenway Park. Walking to the game is a great experience. The staff was very accommodating for our every need.

Pros: good location
Cons: nothing
Location: close to subway, trolleys, and shopping
Check in was awesome. Gave us umbrellas, suggested lunch spots, and then called when the room was ready. Free coffee and wine each day.

Conveniently located mix of old and new

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Preservation of older features - beautiful staircase, older doors. Impeccable service at check-in and throughout stay.
Cons: The size of our room was narrow with barely enough room to pass between the foot of the bed and the furniture. The huge closet should be made smaller.
Location: Close to two T stations, close to Boston Public Library and Copley Square
The staff was extremely polite and helpful. For the price, the room was rather cramped.
