Cons: I don't know if anything can be done about the noise in rooms. Probably not.
Location: Location is prime, unbeatable. Within walking distance of restaurants, Boylston St., numerous restaurants and the T.
Location is superb, and the price for this hotel is very decent, but not a 4 star hotel. The Valet Parking staff is very efficient and friendly. Everything about this hotel is fine, except for one thing: noise! The walls are paper thin. I could hear the people next door. I did not rest. I reported this to the staff and I was offered a room change but I figured all walls must be like this (my room was 218). Also, the bar at the lobby level. It is very loud and that's fine, that's what bars are about. However I could hear the music all the up in my room. So if you book here make sure you are at the 4th floor level or higher! In summary: extraordinary location, attractive price, but very noisy. Not a 4 star hotel, but a strong 3 star.

Location: Near Copley Square and Prudential Center shopping, 1-2 miles from Financial district and historic parts of Boston.
The hotel is located in Back Bay, right next to an Amtrak stop if you are traveling by train, and within walking distance (1-2 miles) of most of the historic sights in Boston. If you love to shop, this hotel is a block away from two major shopping centers: Copley Square and The Shops at the Prudential Center. Our first impression of the room was that it was small, but since we only spent evenings there it did not matter much. The hotel amenities are quite nice and the hotel staff was very friendly; they were always willing to accommodate us in any way they could. The hotel also offered free coffee/tea in the morning, hot chocolate in the afternoon (we visited during winter), and a wine tasting in the evenings. There was a nice looking fitness center with new equipment that no one ever seemed to be using, although it could get crowded quickly if a lot of people attempted to use it at once. I think that if you are looking for a nice, clean place to stay then this is an excellent choice for the price and location. If you are looking for a upscale hotel experience then you will either need to pay a little more to upgrade your room (I believe we had one of the cheapest rooms) or look elsewhere. Overall I am quite satisfied with my decision to stay at the Copley Square Hotel.

Excellent location, and comfortable room, though the room and bathroom were tiny (pretty much a foot of space around the bed). There is a lounge/night club in the first floor with an entrance from the hotel lobby. We were high enough up to not be bothered by any noise. Still seems a bit weird, with people crowding the lobby at night.

The room had a lot of dust on the tables and headboard. Also there is no room service on Friday and Saturday nights which seems strange for a hotel.

I have visited Boston in several occasions and I have stayed in many hotels near the Back Bay area. This is the first time I decided to try the Copley Square hotel and I was very pleasently surprised. It is a small hotel, with only 7 floors. It is very clean, quiet, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms may be a bit on the small side, specially on the higher floors, but for just me it was perfect. The free internet actually has decent speeds (I stayed in this hotel during January, which can be considered the off season in Boston, so I am not sure what it does when the hotel is at full capacity). Free coffee in the lobby is also a nice touch. Overall, I had a great stay and I would definitely consider going back to the Copley Square Hotel in the future.

Location: center of boston. lots of historical sites!
awesome!!!!!! my boyfriend and I were surprised of the hotel. we managed to walk around town and take in the sites including the ice sculptors. a very wonderful Christmas gift mom!!!!!!

Hotel is nice staff is friendly , no room service always closed, stayed their for 14 days got orange juice once , they give u a fridge but never out water in it they put in on the night stand so when you come back from work/meetings it's hot water you can't drink it till the next day, smells like smoke got accused of smoking which I've never done in my life and charged 200$ us everytime you ask to speak to a manager their all managers all of a sudden.

Location: Plenty of shopping, bars and nice restaurants in walking distance. Very near a "T' station if one wishes to roam. Just a block from Prudential Plaza.
Everything was terrific except I chose to stay in their least expensive room (best value per expedia). The room was quite small with a queen bed and it was a bit of a chore for two of us to move around. My fault. Would certainly return and upgrade room. Keith made me dinner recommendation and reservation and personally sent over a complimentary appetizer when we were seated! That's service!
