Centrally located, a touch of classPosted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: The location, the room amenities and the comped wine hour.
Cons: Rooms could be roomier; valet could be swifter. The restaurant also looked virtually empty.
Location: One block from Copley Square, the hotel is close to restaurants, bars, and conference spaces.
Good stay for a Boston conference. Complimentary wine hour was a plus. The room was small but modern, and staff were friendly. Valet is available but friendly and sometimes there was a long wait.

great hotelPosted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: lovely spacious comfortable room and pleasant helpful staff.
Location: Cheers bar within 10 minute walk. Lots of quaint shopping boutiques and designer shops also within walking distance.
We stayed at the Copley for 3 nights and found the Copley to be fantastic. The room was spacious, great power shower and the bed was fantastic. the Copley is a 5 minute walk from the train station and only a 15/20 minute walk to Boston centre. The famous Cheers bar is also only a 10 minute walk as well as plenty of bars/restaurants and shopping all within easy walking distance.

A good hotel for the pricePosted Dec 8, 2014
A very good, centrally located hotel. It turned out to be good value for money. It doesn't have the gloss of a 5-star hotel but I was impressed by the ingenuitive ideas employed to make the experience more personal and comfortable. The 'wine down' hour and early morning tea/coffee are particularly nice touches! I would stay there again and recommend it!

Not exactly comfortable.Posted Dec 4, 2014
Heat wasn't working on one of the colder weekends this fall. Staff said that maintenance checked on it but never did. Froze our first night and didn't get clean towels etc until 8pm. Have emailed the hotel but without response. Not happy.

Attention To DetailPosted Dec 2, 2014
Pros: Location, style, cozy room. The Wine Down benefit is nice.
Cons: Get phones fixed, lower room rates, tell the housekeeping staff to stop switching the tuning on the radio for the station that I spent time finding
Location: Solas and Thornton's (although I got bum directions from one of the staff for the latter).
A cool place at a good location but I didn't care for the fact that I was unable to make a local call from the room phone during the entirety of my 3-night stay. Staff acted like they were concerned about the problem and promised to get it fixed, but there was no follow-up and I have a hunch they knew the local phone service was inoperable. I needed the local phone service because my cell phone worked poorly in Boston. I suspect that most of the guests use their smartphones and have no use for the room phone, thus little incentive on the part of management to get it fixed. I just wish they had been more up front about it.

Pleasant and convenient Boston hotel.Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: Shower was surprisingly strong for a hotel...unusual in our experience, and much appreciated.
Cons: Will be better when fitness room is available on site.
Location: Just a short walk to Prudential Center, with shops of all sorts. Good nearby restaurants were Lucca and Stephanie's on Newberry.
The Copley Square Hotel is a lovely place with nice facilities and a decent breakfast cafe. Fitness room was being renovated, but we were given a pass to a nearby gym. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Only down side was some confusion over final bill, which will presumably be remedied shortly.

Great LocationPosted Nov 29, 2014
I walked everywhere. It was great to explore the streets all the way through the park and down to the harbor and the Charles River. The Star Market was close by for a quick breakfast. There are many restaurants nearby. My room was perfect and I loved the architecture.
