Boston

The hotel is excellently located. The staff were very helpful. Easy walk to many things. Room a little small. Bathroom is a sliding door- not much privacy.

Comfortable hotel in the heart of Boston.

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Convenience about this hotel was great! You can tour all of Boston by walking from this hotel.
Location: Good bars and restaurants are only a walking distance away!
My friend and I booked our room a few weeks before our stay. While the rate per night was a bit high, this was understandable given the fact that it was a holiday weekend. The rooms were clean with a nice view of the city. The bathroom was spotless. The beds were posh and very easy to fall asleep on. My expectations were met and satisfied.

Noisy neighbors

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Close proximity to everything in city
Cons: Beds
Location: College
Had a room that was an adjoining room. The women in the room where extremely loud from 8 pm-10pm. Also, the room I stayed in seem to have running water through the pipes the whole night. it seemed as if the shower was on all night.

Great location!

Posted Aug 24, 2014
This was our first time to Boston so we weren't quite sure what area to stay in. This theatre district seemed to be a central point. This hotel was about a 15 min walk to most everything. We did also catch the subway (5 min walk) to venture elsewhere such as Fenway Park which was only about a 10-15 min ride!!!

Location, Location, Location

Pros: When we walked in we realized it was formerly the Tremont Hotel which we stayed at for a family reunion 20 years ago. Fond memories of that visit.
Location: Great walking city and hotel is perfectly located. Not on a main street so it's quiet. The theaters, great restaurants and the Common are right there.
We had 2 nights in Boston looking at colleges for our daughter. It was a short 2 block walk over to Emerson which was on our list. We dreaded leaving early Sat morning for the airport but it took less than 15 minutes to get there. In the morning we walked over to Newbury Street and sat an an outdoor cafe while waiting for the stores to open at 10AM.

Thin walls, close to too many night clubs.

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Extended my visit to Boston area after a conference in Cambridge. Since thought access to T and ease of walking is plus to.Boston, didn't matter the location of this hotel was near financial district. Hotel location was fine, as anticipated. Able to get to museums, north end, Jamaica plains, etc. Hotel is in misdst of renovation. Small rooms, thin walls, no fridge. Elevators did not always work and found that the elevator that was working was monopolized by bacheloret parties staying in hotel due to proximity to numerous night clubs in area. Loud music carried up pipes to my room, too, but relatively easy to ignore compared to tv and baby in next room.

Anna, I hope you enjoyed your extended trip to Boston. It is such a wonderful city and I am glad you could stay a little longer after your conference. We are in the midst of a renovation. By the end of the year we will have renovated all of our guest rooms, our lobby and the restaurant. I am sure this will address the concerns you raised. I hope you will choose to stay with us on your next trip and get to experience the complete renovation. Thank you

Weekend stay

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Nice lobby and employees
Cons: Lower price and pay to get digital or HD
Location: Panera & Dunking Donuts
Average hotel charging 4 star prices. TV was in analog, which I thought didn't even exist anymore. 4 elevators with only 2 running and took forever.

Close to everything

This hotel was close to everything. We went to a baseball game, south end, Boston tea party, and Quincy market and we were very close to all these locations
