I knew this hotel was in renos when we booked it but it was still $200 a night with a king bed the room was the size of a closet barely big enough for two people , no fridge creaky faucets the walls were paper thin and $43 a day for parking is crazy

wake up callPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: the location
Cons: guest services
upon arriving i discovered the hotel was renovating the lobby area and had it walled off and all you could hear were j.ack hammers, i was not informed of this before my arrival. luckily my room was on the 9th floor so i did not hear the constuction from my room but both nights i stayed there the fire alarm went off in the early morning, on the second night it sounded for what seemed like was a hour. At check in nothing was said about the remodling and at check out nothing was said about the alarms..... very disappointed in the guest service side of my stay!!

Never againPosted Oct 29, 2013
The worst hotel experience we've had in years. Everything about this hotel was disturbing. Had to ask for valet service when we pulled up to the curb. Thought we might have arrived somewhere other than the main entry. Minor renovations apparently underway - and are they needed. Fact is they should close this hotel down until they are complete. Very young staff acted as though all was business as usual. Room was exceptionally small and badly furnished. Bathroom was not well cleaned and was overdue for new finishes and fixtures. Linens should have been retired long ago. We felt robbed. Major disappointment to be carrying Marriott moniker. Would have been a disappointment at $70/night. Insulting at $250.

Great location!Posted Sep 26, 2013
Rooms are a bit dated, but it's a great location, clean and generally pleasant to stay.

Just OKPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Lobby had some charm though I arrived on a hot humid weekend and the air conditioning was freezing in the lobby, it felt both cold and damp. My bedroom was similar. In the bedroom lots of dark furniture and desk but no room for luggage rack or place to put suitcase. When I turned down the air conditioning the room became clammy. I kept it on but felt my sinuses did not like it very much. The front desk staff were helpful, and buffet style breakfast was good -though the staff in the cafe were at a loose end to find anything to do except to rush up and ask if everything was alright. It wasn't a bad place to stay....just OK.

Good location, fine for family and business people. Good service. In an older building which added charm.
