Close to Logan Airport

Pros: Free frequent shuttle. Has a pool. Friendly staff.
Cons: Slightly over positioned as being inside Logan Airport. It's actually very "near" Logan. Was not a problem for us.
Location: Free shuttle will get you to you airline gate in about 20 minutes. Easy access to Boston's Blue Line subway that can take you into Quincy Market.
Our family of 4 had an early morning flight so we wanted a location very close to Logan airport. The hotel, wasn't what I'd call inside the airport, but it was reasonably close on nearby Rt 1-A north. The hotel runs a free shuttle 24 hours a day that runs every 15-20 minutes. We utilized this extensively: to drop our rental car the night before departure, to shuttle us to the nearby subway station for a fun trip into Boston, and to get to our airline early the next morning. I think our longest wait was 25 minutes, but usually it was sooner. The room was absolutely adequate, no issues. The kids took advantage of the pool, but we really didn't have much time to explore other amenities. Lots of airline crews stay at this hotel as we met some nice folks on the shuttle. Bottom line: Good hotel. Good service. Helpful employees. Close enough to get you to your flight terminal in 15-20 minutes. If you absolutely want to stay inside Logan Airport and maybe walk to the terminal, there are better choices for that privilege.

Horrible layout in bathrooms

The room was fine- nothing great but functional. Bad bathroom design. No place to put down a hair dryer or makeup near sink. The only thing close was the top of a curved toilet tank. Hair dryer kept falling to the floor.

Nice place to stay

We were in town for a Red Sox game, it was an easy commute to Fenway.

Perfect for the airport.

Great access to the airport -- the shuttle seemed to run pretty regularly. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Passing through Boston

Cons: Breakfast, although good, was extremely overpriced.
Room and accommodations were excellent. Location was perfect.. near Boston Logan airport as we were flying out in the morning. Easy train ride to Fenway Park and Quincy Market.

Free shuttle to airport

Pros: Free shuttle, nice room, dining/bar area nice.
Cons: Free, light breakfast with bagels or something to grab quickly. Most people stay here for easy access to airport, most in a hurry to catch flight.
Location: Near the airport. Free shuttle will take you to the Blue line train at the airport.
I did not have a car and needed a place close to the airport, preferably with free shuttle and . I requested an early check-in and they were very accommodating. Used the shuttle once to get to the train to go into downtown Boston and once to the airport the next morning. Bar/Dining area is nice. Just a reminder, if you don't want to be disturbed in the very early morning, put the tag out to "not disturb". I had forgotten to place the tag on the door, and they tried to enter the room at 7:30am, which I thought was very early. I was on vacation and wanted to sleep in just a bit before catching my flight.

SO SO

Cons: A complete redesign, overhaul of rooms .
Location: Get a flight out asap
First problem was having a toilet and shower in one room with a sliding door giving less a feeling of privacy than a traditional door. The towels were the size of hand towels so dont wash your hair with the sub standard shampoo or you will be needing your partners towel too. Then the sink is out in the hall, in the way, and no privacy at all! Whoever designed this hotel needs to go back to architectural school and Marriott Hotels should not let their standards drop so far. Oh and if you leave the a/c on at night, better dress warm cuz the cover won't do it. Looks like its back to the other hotel nearer the airport, even if the price is higher.

recent stay

Pros: the total facility
Cons: everything was fine.
Location: the location is easy to get to and the shuttle is great..i use it to come and go from the airport.
the staff was friendly and food and bar great..got in near midnight and they quieted me down.. the shuttle has very short turnarounds so you are not wondering when they will show up.. all went well and had the buffet in am before leaving..will be back.
