“Great stay in Boston”
If you are looking for a good location, a friendly staff and a comfortable stay, this is the right hotel.
“Great Location!”
if you are going to a theater show, only a 150 ft walk to the theater! that was the reason i pick this place, and also the subway is only 30 feet from the hotel!
“Nice place”
Nice place Staff good
“great hotel in a great location”
This hotel was very clean and comfortable with helpful, friendly staff. Great location. Walking distance to lots of venues. Steps away from the T.
“Good location”
Pricey for breakfast but good location.
“Double Tree in Downtown Boston is a Fair Price for Prime Location”
I have used this hotel before. It is a very basic hotel but right in the heart of downtown Boston. The rooms are clean, well furnished, and overall has great customer service.
“Ok for a short break”
Good location, but overall condition not great.
“Surprising Find in Boston”
To be honest, this was not my first choice of hotels in Boston. On the map it seemed far from everything. As it turns out, it was a great experience. It was walking distance (a good walk) to Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the Public Garden, etc. There is a hospital directly next to the hotel, so there were sirens from time to time, but not bad at all. The staff was always pleasant and the room service food was actually quite good. Overall, I have no complaints about my stay.
“Nice Accomodations”
There were only two real negatives that I can comment on. 1, no free WiFi in the room. They want to charge 12.50 a night for Wifi. I have never had to pay for Wifi any where else in the US, or Europe. Second there is a Hospital emergency enterance right across the street. The Sirens would sometimes wake us up at night. Every thing in Boston is Expensive. Breakfast in the Hotel was Way out of range. Come on guys you can only do so much with Bacon and Eggs. There is a McDonalds right down the street. Overnight parking was outrageous also. The hotel is convenient to the MTA, and Taxi's are very Reasonable, so we really did not need a car. The Tour Trolleys were nice and well worth the money. On the plus side. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and bent over backwards to accomodate us. We got excellent advice on restaurants, and tours. I would stay there again. 4-1/2 out of 5 stars, Losing half a point for the wifi charge.
“Nice place, convenient location”
So, the girl working the front desk asked us what brought us to Boston, and we told her it was our honeymoon. She shook both of our hands and told us congratulations. About an hour or so later, we received a phone call from the front desk saying they had a package for us. When we got the knock on the door, it was a complimentary tray of cheeses, crackers and a bottle of red wine. The only "draw back" is the hotel bar/restaraunt is a bit pricey, but there are plenty of other eateries in the direct area of the hotel and it's only a 15-20 minute walk to the Quincy Market and Harborwalk areas which have fantastic seafood places as well as the aquarium and IMAX theater. Overall, the comfort and location of the hotel helped make our trip that much more enjoyable.
