“Great Location”

This hotel was in a great location. The metro stop was a half block away. The Boston common was about 6 blocks away. If you like to shop, Filene's, TJ Maxx, Eddie Bauer outlet, Marshall's are all an easy walk up Washington Ave. There are also great restaurants very close by, especially Vietnamese food. Not far away is the Freedom Trail as well for an historic walk.

Very good value for my money. The hotel was very nice and clean and was located right in the heart of Boston. Walking distance to everything.

Great location, clean room, extremely friendly staff, including valet parking attendants, great break fast. would stay again.

The Doubletree was great! Any place where I come back from a meeting and they have warm chocolate chip cookies waiting for me is fine in my book! The service was excellent, the room was clean and the beds were insanely comfortable. Great location too!

Nice hotel, very clean, with a professional atmosphere. Parking was only by valet, and expensive. It was $34 just to park at the hotel.

“Pretty nice hotel in Boston”

The front desk staff did a great job, helping us with maps of Boston, subway info and directions to Boston Common, the Aquarium, Faneiul Hall, etc. Plus you get a warm cookie. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was good and there are 2 business centers with computers and printers. The decor may be a little out of date, but they keep it nice and clean so that was fine with us since the price was half of the average downtown hotel. I thought the breakfast was too expensive, but there's a good coffee maker in the room and a Starbucks in the lobby.

Great experience and great proximity to hospital and restaurants. Lacks free wifi in your room or a complimentary continental breakfast.
