“Clean and Comfortable”

The staff was all very friendly; the front desk always had useful information, maps, and friendly advice. Our room was clean, our beds comfortable, and housekeeping was immaculate. The lobby always maintained a laid back atmosphere while remaining stylish and functional. The hotel also featured a small cafe that had amazing food made to order as well as drinks and snacks.

“Great Hotel, Not So Great Location”

The hotel itself was very nice and the service was great. The room was large, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel restaurant 'The Boar's Head' also served some pretty good (if a bit overpriced) food. My only complaint involves the hotel's location. It's not in a bad neighborhood or anything, at least as best as I could tell. It's just that it was fairly difficult to find, and there weren't any other locations near it worth visiting. If you're just in need of a room for the night, the Doubletree will serve well, but if you're interested in exploring Boston you may want to stay somewhere else.

“Great stay!”

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel itself was comfortable and close to the city of Boston. A T station was only a block or so away. The only drawback to this hotel was that there was no continental breakfast, and no areas surrounding the hotel to eat...but with Boston only a few minutes away, that didn't really matter!

“" Will stay here when I next visit Boston"”

Although we only had a short stay at the hotel. It was well presented. The room was large and very comfortable. The Staff on the Front Counter were very helpful. The shuttle was excellent. Would definately recommend anyone travelling to Boston to stay at this hotel.

“Going back depends....”

Pros-Good bed. Clean room. Air conditioner worked well. Friendly staff. Cons-No anti-bacterial hand soap in our rooms bathroom. No kitchonette in room when we were led to believe there was. Printer in business center did not work. pay per night for parking and expensive for getting nothing included during our stay.

“Not what I was expecting”

I have booked various vacation in the Hilton Family Hotels and this was the worst. It is not a bad hotel but for the price you can find something better. The worst thing for me was that the A/C turned off and on about every 15 minutes.

“Good Boston loaction for visitning city.”

Good Boston location for travel into the city. Close to South Station and airport. Convient shuttle service. Hotel dining options would be better if expanded.

“Tired”

It's tired and one of the two elevators wasn't working, which was an inconvenience. Nobody had vacuumed under the bed for a while and the bathtub drain was slow. The most inconvenient thing about this hotel is that it doesn't do breakfast. There is a little convenience/deli place attached to it where they do a decent job but you have to wait your turn and it can take a while. The staff is nice but this is basically a two-star hotel.

“Doubletree Boston Bayside”

This was the second time that I had the pleasure of staying at Doubletree Boston Bayside Hotel. This was a special ocassion as my daughter was graduating with her Master's from Boston University. The room we occupied was newly updated. The staff at the hotel was always ready to please us. We had plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. The beds were comfortable and very clean. The shuttle to and from the airport was an extra bonus. If I ever visit Boston again, the Doubletree Boston Bayside Hotel would always be my first choice. I also would book through Expedia for future trips. They were friendly and very helpful with my entire trip.

Getting around

The subway was our way of transportation around the city of Boston. If anyone would visit Boston, we highly recommend the subway.
