Nice hotel- short cab ride to Fenway

It's always nice to have a spacious hotel room and with separate bedroom and sitting area this hotel is a good choice. We had tickets to see the Sox and it was easier to take a short cab ride to the game- and back- than to pay to park near the stadium. Our room overlooked the river and we watched the scullers early in the morning which was an added bonus. Roof top bar has great view but a limited drink menu.

Location: enjoy charles river
our 4th of July, one nite stay was ok. but, there was no information about the holiday. we had to walk back and forth to the fireworks pops. food prices very high in the hotel.

Never Stay Here!!!

I booked my room on line. When I arrived there was confusion regarding my reservation. We were placed in a suite room with a large conference table in the living room. I reserved a room with a balcony that was listed to sleep 4. The staff said that this was not true. I had to produce a copy of my reservation along with the number. I was told that the room was sufficiently close to what I reserved so there was nothing the hotel would do. The staff and manager were condescending and rude. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

While the room appeared clean it felt dirty and the sleep sofa would not pull out.

Great Hotel close to Harvard

We were here for our son's graduation from Harvard and have stayed here a few times before during his 4 years here in Boston. We love the hotel and had a beautiful view of the Charles River.

Pros: Cookies on cookies on cookies
Cons: Roll out beds in couches not very comfortable.
It was good. Better than I was anticipating. Room service was way to expensive. A salad, coke, and burger comes out to $50. Sorry, I had to send that food back. To present a receipt with 5-6 line items of additional fees is not welcoming and that food is not worth $50 of value. $35 dollars for the same meal downstairs, 2mins away. 2mins of travel is NOT worth $15.

Big disappointment

Decided to stay here based on location but most importantly reputation as a leading hotel brand. I certainly made a mistake. The hotel is set up as a large atrium where the room doors open up to an indoor balcony. This isn't an issue so much during the day but at 10pm-12am when the bar on the 3rd floor is so loud that I can hear it in my room on the 15th floor is ridiculous. I walked out of the room to see many others on the balconies on most every floor. The wifi is a complete joke. It took over 4 hours to download one movie to my iPad. There are other hotels right across the river which will likely be a better option. And the $35 a day parking is excessive given the location. I work in the hotel/hospitality industry and this was about the worst I've seen given the full rate I paid. There was zero concern from the front desk upon checking out.

Great hotel!

Pros: Spacious rooms, very clean, great front desk and dining room staff, food terrific, bed comfortable, room quiet.... Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Roof top deck should be open later...closing at 10pm on Friday, Sat and Sunday is disappointing
Great hotel .. Looking forward to staying there again!

Issue on May 23

Pros: Shuttle to the subway stations
Cons: Free breakfast Automatically log in website as long as the guest is staying in the hotel.
Location: MIT, Harvard tour
It is very noisy in the evening of May 23. It seems there is an event in the totel in that night. But no notice to other guests in advance. It is very noisy in the evening in the lobby, starting from the dinner time to mid-night. The singing or loud speech became to abusing and flight around 10:00pm. I started to worry about the safety of staying in this hotel. I should call the police. I don't know how the Hotel allows this happen and not stop it. Furthermore, no sorry or explanation the next day – does it mean such event is normal in this hotel? My daughter could not fall in sleep until mid-night and we have to cancel all the schedule on May 24. I was very disappointed and not recommend this hotel.
