Hotel with paradoxic location

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: You exit hotel property and immediately drive straight to the Mass Pike. Very convenient if you are to do a lot of driving around Greater Boston area.
Cons: Parking hard to get to before a show at jazz club. In general, parking garage is not for faint of heart - passageways are very narrow.
Location: On one hand, it's very isolated. On the other hand, crossing the river takes a minute, and then you are off to the heart of Cambridge.
If the weather is nice (which was not the case with our stay), location indeed is pleasant. Views from the rooms are great, no matter which way the room is facing. Always ask for the highest possible floor to maximize this factor. Rooms are clean, equipment in the rooms (TVs, fridge, microwave) is a hodgepodge of all and new, but it all works. Did not have time to check out the pool, but it's there all right. Also did not use any other facilities (restaurant, shuttles etc.), but the offering is rich. Would I stay here again? Yes - in the spring and if I have enough leisure time planned for my trip.

Thanksgiving visit

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: Two room suite
We stayed at this hotel during the Thanksgiving holiday to be close to family living in Brighton, MA. While it was not in downtown Boston, there was a convenient complimentary shuttle that ran regularly. The suite was perfect for three of us with separate living area with pull out sofa. Nice view of the Charles River.

Excellent hotel in Dicey location for easy access

Posted Nov 4, 2014
The hotel and its suites are excellent, but it's situated in the middle of a cloverleaf of access roads that, because of very bad signage in Massachusetts, makes it very tricky to navigate getting anywhere from the hotel - even with GPS.

Stay in Boston 10/19- 10/26

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Conveinence
Cons: I do not think they should charge for coffee in the morning.
Location: Perfect , with the shuttle system everything is close. Cabs are always available, and they have a Jazz club on the premises.
The Hotel was a very friendly place, all the staff were eager to assist in any way they could. My wife was staying with me on this trip and while I was working during the day, it was important that the hotel offer a shuttle service to the Aquarium, ( which is a 10 minute walk to the North End) Copley Square and Harvard Square. The Shuttles were on time and clean. Great place to stay, and I am sure that we will be back.

Overpriced for what it is!

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: Nice staff at the bar.
Cons: Only one person to help with the bags. (Did it ourselves...) Self-Parking is $35 per night - no valet. Protesters outside until 11:15pm.
Location: Good location for Head of the Charles.
This hotel is an expensive disappointment. It is obvious that this is not a well run Hilton.

Location: Near to Cambridge, Harvard etc. Shuttle bus is handy
Fine hotel. Irritating that they charge for morning coffee in the lobby!
