Cheaper than downtown Boston.Posted Apr 23, 2015
Nice place with awesome shuttle service. Rooms were nice size, bed was great . Sofa sleeper mattress was terrible. Staff was friendly. Most of our time was spent out and about . The afternoon shuttle driver was so wonderful at helping us out with directions and transportation. Made it convenient to stay outside of the main city.

Excellent and comfortablePosted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: very courteous front desk people. the spacious suite. The coffee and tea gratuity. the prompt room service. the view. the TV.
Cons: Everything was fine except the breakfast waitress with the attitude.
Location: Visiting Cambridge and Boston Parks and Malls
The location and the view are excellent. The service and is also very good. The only problem I had is that I was overcharged for breakfast, as I took the intercontinental buffet but was charged for a full buffet. This annoyed me a little especially when I complained about the incident but was told that she couldn't change it. Also when I paid cash I didn't get my change back and when I asked for it, I got an insulting comment about that she thought the rest was a tip since "people pay for the service". Otherwise everything else was OK to Excellent.

It was available with free cancelationPosted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: It was very clean. The staff was very accommodating. It had indoor pool with early swim hours. Which is why I chose the hotel. Room rate was fair.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was too pricey. Being there were no available restaurants within immediate walking distance.
Location: Thought the area was scenic, the hotel was smack in the middle of major roadway thorough fares. Had to be careful to cross the street.
I have stayed at different hotels in Boston. This was a very nice hotel except for the exact location.

Three day week-endPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: The staff at the hotel were very polite, helpful and welcoming.
Cons: Unfortunately the shuttle to Harvard did not start until 7:30 and I needed to be on campus by 7:30 for meetings. You do need a taxi to get around.
Location: Having a shuttle is essential to visiting Harvard, downtown and connecting with transit system which will quickly connect you to all the major sites.
The suite was more than I needed for a three day trip. It was spacious. The separate living area was very comfortable. The fridge, microwave and coffee/tea maker were new and cream and milk were supplied:) The washroom was modern as well, and the toiletries were of good quality. The hotel is located near the highway on all sides. So be strategic about using the shuttle. I found my floor corner suite to be quite and I had a comfortable good night's sleep. I would definitely stay again if I was bringing my husband or my family as there was more than enough room for all of us.

Pretty view from rooms 1600s of Charles riverPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Elegant. We loved the king bedding. Interesting to see a TV in a BR mirror and a fun shower! The decor was beautiful. Floors gorgeous.
Cons: The lighting on the stairs in the room 1621, I think the iPod station needs help near the upstairs bed. The fold out couch could use a foam topper.
Location: We were tired and a bit anxious, so it was super helpful to have a choice of pizza delivery services. The family enjoyed the amenities.
The front desk staff including Whitney and the room service staff Michael were super sweet to our daughter on April 7th the night before she had eye surgery. Our daughter loved the pool and she was delighted with the strawberry surprise and the suite. Michael was super quick too. The morning check out staff as a whole was kind and helped us find the fasteset route to the hospital at 5:40 in the morning. We arrived in time.

Suite was very spaciousPosted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: The King Suite was very spacious compared to the smaller rooms in Cambridge.
Cons: Wish the hotel lobby had a Starbuck or Peets or other cafe. Lower PARKING FEES.
Location: Not walking distance to Harvard Yard.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. We wanted to extend another day and we were fortunate that we didn't have to move.

Great place to stayPosted Apr 6, 2015
Location: Go to the Jazz Club in the hotel.
I didn't find anything I didn't enjoy about this hotel. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, the food is good, the jazz is great. I stay here a couple times a year and I always enjoy my stay.

Good location near Boston University. Parking is $35/day. Sound from the road outside was a bit noisy on the 6th floor, but all in all, a nice, clean hotel.
