The real problem with this hotel is that it is incredibly noisy. The restaurant opens out into the open courtyard in the middle of the entire hotel. The noise carries and people are singing, carrying on, being noisy until at least midnight (even though the bar in the restaurant is supposed to close at 11pm). We complained about the noise in our room which was preventing us from sleeping (a big deal, given that we have flown across the country on a red-eye and were dead tired). They seemed to blame us for being too sensitive to noise. Pretty ridiculous given that they put us in a room right above the restaurant. Logistically, the parking is crazy expensive ($47 a day) but there is no other place to park nearby and the driveway opens on to one of the busiest thoroughfares in the Boston/Cambridge area. The rooms here are pretty clean. The suite is pretty good (though the door to room doesn't close properly - it's a sliding door). This place wasn't cheap so, other than the rooms being of a decent size, it's entirely inhospitable to being able to sleep or get to places easily - kind of the most important part of being in a hotel. I would only stay here if I had no other option.

We stayed here to be close to Harvard university. We had a large king room with separate living room. Very spacious. Room was very clean - looked in very new condition.

My family stayed here for 3 nights. My husband left his e-book in the breakfast dinning room and didn't realize until the next day when we have already left. We called the front desk and were told they found it already. They shipped it to us very quickly. Really appreciated!

Everything was good except the surprise 50 parking fee. This is how the hotel brings you in on what you think is a decent room price than oh yer 50 bucks to park car. It’s a bit over reaching. Just include the parking in room price. The way off al cart for parking feels like a money grab by hotel.

Fantastic view of the city looking east from the 15th floor ! Staff was very friendly and helpful everywhere. Very nice buffet and breakfast in Boathouse 400. A great venue in Scullers Jazz Club! Very easy access from I-90 and easy to get to downtown Boston. I highly recommend. We will be back to catch a show and stay over !

The room and location is perfect but the service is disastrous. No free drinkable water and the elevator is broken after a fire alarm so everyone needed to walk to their room. We lived in the 14th floor, by the way.

Great stay. Safe and stylish. Not a lot of affordable Room Service options, but able to get delivery. Very walkable to Harvard. Lovely setting, felt very fancy to my daughter. Pool and Hot tub were okay, but a little green and muggy. Hefty incidental charge! Be prepared with extra $$$. Costly parking.
