Great location to Logan Airport and Boston!

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff was very accommodating and the hotel location was very convenient to both the airport and to the metro to travel into Boston.
Cons: The mattress in Room 1005 could be a little better. You kept rolling to the middle where there was a dip.
Location: Great location to airport and only a 5 minute walk to the metro to go into to Boston.
Great location! Five minute walk from the hotel to the metro that takes you into Boston. Great hotel shuttle that picks you up at the airport and then takes you back to the hotel. Hotel staff was great and very friendly and helpful when we inquired about things to see in Boston. Will definitely go back and stay there again!

Close to airport

Posted May 16, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed, close to airport, and a free shuttle. The breakfast was also included.
Cons: One of the TVs did not work.
Location: Close to airport. In Boston, so lots of sightseeing if you wish but would need to go a few miles to get to center.
A good hotel, close to the airport and with a free shuttle. The room was nice although one of the TVs did not work. The bed was very comfortable.

Shouldn't be called Embassy Suites

Posted May 13, 2015
Pros: Free Breakfast (made to order)- the only promise Embassy Suites kept
Cons: More complimentary snacks, toiletries and discounted alcohol as it isn't complimentary
Location: A few shops and restaurants nearby but- mostly this place is not close to much but the airport.
I booked this hotel under the pretense that it was Embassy Suites. Meaning free drinks- manager's reception, and free snacks/toiletries. All of these things were not part of my stay here. There is no alcohol for free due to Boston laws (I was rudely told by a manager) and they don't even offer drink discounts. I mean if Boston doesn't allow free drinks why can't ES just say $3 a drink....still making a profit. Smallest ES room I have stayed in. Breakfast was the usual ES breakfast. Snacks and toiletries that are usually complimentary- do not exist. This hotel wants $3 for a Hot Pocket, $3 bottled water and $3 for a nail clipper......nothing here is complimentary like I have come to expect from ES and why I booked this hotel. It isn't near any part of Boston but does have easy access to the T. A wonderful park across the street if you have kids. 2 elevators for the entire hotel- means at times there is a line to get to your room- no easy stair access. 7th grade class arrived at midnight (a bus full of 7th graders) and security had to walk the halls to ensure peace and quiet- however the hotel manager didn't manage this well at all. These kids were spread between 3-4 floors versus all being placed in one area not to distract other guests. There is a small store nearby for bottled water etc (much cheaper than the hotel charges). If you go out the front door make a R and make a R on the first street- Diana's in on the Right. Disappointed- this should not be called Embassy Suites.

Location: Had to board T or take an expensive taxi to get to tourist areas. Convenient to airport.
Location was convenient to airport, but not for walking Boston, had to get on T to get to Bostons main attractions.

Meh...

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Location to the T and Airport was good.
Cons: Better food quality and less quantity maybe? Functional TVs and more lounge space in lobby.
Location: Close to T, Downtown, Aquarium, and T will get you all over.
Good location in relation to the T. Shuttle to airport was easy and convenient. For cost it was a little underwhelming. Breakfast was voluminous, great if you are a teenager looking to eat piles of free bacon, but not high quality. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. TVs were super cheap and cable was sporadic and slow. Front desk staff was hit or miss.

Close to Logan

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Room, valet parking was handy.
Cons: Breakfast times
Location: Logan Airport
Nice and Easy hotel to use. It is valet parking ( tips), and if you need to put something in the car on the morning of your flight you need to have them get the car (more tips). But for the $10 in tips it was nice. The rooms are large with a Separate room with a TV. There is some food put out for free in the evening but it is not great. The embassy in Portland, Maine has much better free food. Breakfast was not early enough for us either. I think it began at 6:30. For many flights breakfast needs to start around 5:30. We did not use the pool.

The rooms are quiet, the elevators fast, and the breakfast superb. Plus it has a shuttle. What more do you want?

Boston with Family

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Location was great and staff was very helpful.
Location: We could easily walk to the subway stop and it was a quick 10-15 min subway ride to just about anything in downtown Boston including all the tourist
This was a great hotel location and the staff was terrific. This is just off airport (in fact I walked to the rental car center to pick up rental car) and within 100 yrds of the subway stop (3 min walk). The hotel is newer, clean, pleasant and had lots of amenities. We really like this location and would stay here again anytime we visit the Boston area.

Great hotel but Valet-only parking is expensive

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: great rooms in fabulous condition. Nice hotel with good amenities and a gym which is important to have!
Cons: Valet parking fee... $35 a day is wicked high
Location: Logan airport is around the corner so it's a great place to stay before or after a trip!
the room was clean, the location is in great proximity to the airport, and I rally like the hotel. The $35 a night valet parking is rather outrageous though!

It is a pleasure to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay at the Embassy Suites Hotel Boston at Logan Airport. I'm sorry to hear that you find the valet parking outrageous. The hotel valet parking fee is competitively based on the parking rates within the area and is the cheapest. I hope this doesn't deter you from you coming back to the hotel. Thank you and have a wonderful day!
