Comfortable and well placedPosted Oct 16, 2014
Pros: as above
Location: as above
Hotel is a short walk from town and has a T stop opposite, there are restaurants on Cambridge Street if you don't mind a slightly longer walk, I think there is a bus. Hotel is clean and comfortable and has tea and coffee available 24 hours.

Great location, nice hotelPosted Oct 14, 2014
We stayed over the weekend fir a Seminar and it was fine. A little pricey, but we could walk to downtown and also has the metro close to street. They seriously have to consider the stuff they call breakfast. There are no options close by and even if it's free, it doesn't have to be as disgusting

Hotel near Cambridge and downtown BostonPosted Oct 6, 2014
Boston area is just overly expensive but this hotel was the best price I could find for a 2 queen bed room. Parking is tight and minimal for size of hotel so get you parking early.

ok stayed in better for the money spentPosted Oct 6, 2014
garbage was not emptied in the room and coffee was not replaced, water leak spots on ceiling near wall, very tiny closet blocked by chair. Had to call and request refrigerator even though I had put it in my request when I booked the room needs for medications. Coffee pot in bathroom...not sanitary at all!

Pros: Excellent breakfast choice. Accurate advice.
Location: We had a Harvard appointment and it was an easy walk. Not far to bus or train. Very good restaurants handy.
Great atmosphere. Very quiet friendly. It was very easy to transport into the city for the tours.

Hotel fine- parking horriblePosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: cleaniness, and staff
Cons: Acquire additional secure parking
Location: A short car ride to Harvard Square, Downtown Boston and Fenway
Hampton Cambridge facility is functionally fine, comfortable and provides all expected of a mid range hotel. Free breakfast is always a plus. Pricing is a bit steep for the facility level and hotel appointments but it is in a major metro area. The underground parking, although included in the room price (and I guess therefore why I should not be complaining) is ridiculous and very poorly designed. The neighborhood however is not a place you'd leave a good car overnight so everyone tries to shoehorn their vehicles into spaces and corners better sized for bicycles and skateboards. Be prepared for this or take a cab.
