Nice hotel very close to the Boston Metro System

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The clean facilities and very comfortable bed.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Location: As mentioned above, proximity to the metro green line makes it very easy to go downtown (or anywhere else on the system.
The reception desk was welcoming and my room was very clean with good and working facilities. The hotel itself is virtually opposite Lechmere metro station which is 3 stops from the downtown area of Boston on the green line. For those who like it, a Mc Donald's is 10 mins walk away. The breakfast is served from 6 am to 10 am and is well stocked with cereal, waffles, pastries, toast and a hot choice on a serve yourself basis. The coffee in the dining area is good and available throughout the day to guests. Coffee making facilities are also provided in the rooms. They will also store your baggage on checkout if needed before your travels. A 7 day "Charlie card" is good value and gives you access to all metro lines, all MTBA buses and the Inner Harbour Ferry.

nice hotel fairly priced

Clean hotel. Fast elevators. Free, modest breakfast. My room lacked a fridge and microwave (common in may Hampton Inns), but otherwise ok. Adjacent to Lechmere subway stop and noisy traffic circle. Across the street from a large mall. In other words, area is pretty deserted but easy access to Boston, Cambridge and highways. Free parking.

Great service

Our first room at the Hampton Inn had an odd smell and we both started sneezing. When we asked the hotel clerk for a new room, he was wonderfully accomodating and gave us a new room and also free movies as a gesture of good will. He was just lovely.

Great location, great price

Our family of 6 stayed here for 5 nights. Perfect location for seeing Boston and visiting MIT and Harvard. Conveniently located across the street from public transportation. We returned our rental car after the first day because we didn't need it!

Enjoyable stay

my stay at the Hampton Inn was very comfortable and enjoyable. I didn't expect much upon arriving. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The best part of this location is its easy access to the nearby T trains.

Very nice accommodations in Cambridge

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: I liked the attractive lobby, dining area for breakfast and the comfortable room.
Cons: They could provide shuttle service to nearby attractions and it is a bit difficult to access the hotel if you are driving on other side of the street.
Location: The location is not too far from the Science Museum in Boston or other Cambridge attractions, however, they are not in walking distance.
We stayed in the Hampton Inn Boston Cambridge and found the rooms, lobby and common areas extremely pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus as was the free parking. The hotel itself is situated in an awkward area and getting to the hotel from the other side of the street is difficult as there are no legal U-Turns. The good news is that it is very near the Green line T-stop and you can walk to a nearby shopping center, but everything else would require a car or a hop on the T.

Great location

Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Location, it was clean and very organise
Location: Great location, close to a mall i can't remember the name, where you can find the cheesecake factory, sephora... like the main stores.
This was our first time in Boston and we couldn't had found a better place to stay. Super clean, great staff and great location: very close to main attractions like mall and prudence center. The breakfast was included and it was pretty good. Thanks!
