Great place to stay and get around by foot!

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: The courtesy breakfasts had a nice change every day. Appreciated the bananas, yogurt variety, cranberry juice, and hard boiled eggs.
Cons: The pick-up shuttle service at the day's end. Once we called and the message didn't get through. We were then asked who we spoke to -- we had no idea.
Location: Only 2 evening restaurants near hotel. Otherwise, the shuttle and access to mass transit is great and quickly leads to any attraction that you like.
( See our answers to the other questions. ) Friendly staff. Clean room and responsive maintenance people.

Excellent service

Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: Service, plus free wifi, airport shuttle and breakfast (the three most important things when I decide whether or not to book a hotel.
I stayed at Hampton Inn Boston/Logan the night of arriving in the US and the night before departing the US again. Both times the service was excellent - personable and customer oriented. This extends from phoning the hotel to arrange (free) hotel shuttle pick-up, the driver, check-in, room condition (very clean and welcoming details), cleaning staff, to check-out details. The free breakfast is extensive and simply wholesome and varied. Lots of fresh fruit included! Whether arriving late in the evening or not, service was always friendly and efficient. On my second stay, I arrived in the morning at the hotel (due to early flight arrival) and was offered an early check-in; the following day my flight out of Boston was not until 4 pm and I asked for and was promptly granted a late check-out. Couldn't have asked for more, including quiet room. Would definitely stay here again when flying in and out of Boston.

Convenient for an overnight stay between flights

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: The inclusive breakfast and how helpful the staff were.
Cons: Needs updating.
Location: Easy access to central Boston for general sight seeing.
We like the Hampton Inn chain of hotels due to the inclusive breakfasts, great sized rooms and business centers with internet and printing facilities. This hotel had all of that, but was a bit more dated than others we've stayed in. The bathroom was definitely ready for remodeling and the shower left a lot to be desired. General cleanliness was OK, but not amazing. Having said that, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage safely in a secure room so that we could go into Boston as our flight wasn't until the evening. The shuttle bus drivers were also very good and helped with our rather heavy suitcases without complaining.

We were only here for one night, but the front desk person was delightful and the room was very clean. We somehow ended up in a handicapped room sot it was very roomy, but don't know what the regular ones are like size-wise.

Great hotel.

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: I liked having the breakfast and shuttle included. I liked the comfort of the hotel and the helpful front staff.
Location: We hopped into a cab and went to the pick up the old town trolley tour. It included admission to the Boston Tea Museum. We enjoyed touring Boston.
We enjoyed the shuttle from airport to hotel and from hotel to the cruise ship. Breakfast was good and nice to be included. Hotel was comfortable. Pool was nice. Hot tub could have been hotter and jets were not working. Overall a great experience.

Convenient airport area hotel w/helpful amenities

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Location: Location was a run down suburb near airport with little to do except for a horse racing track and to have convenient access to airport.
Hotel was a short distance from the airport which offered both a regular airport shuttle and abundant free parking on site. Clean, well kept hotel with helpful complimentary amenities such as wifi access throughout, hot breakfast buffet, coffee/cookies in lobby, gym, pool, airport shuttle and parking. Area around hotel was unimpressive and room price was relatively high, but this hotel does the job for guests who need convenient airport access or need a hotel with free parking to use as a base in the Boston area. It suited our needs perfectly in this regard.

Pros: staff
Cons: move to a location near a resturant.
Location: location was good to the airport but not close to dinning.
The staff from the front desk to the airport shuttle were top notch. Probably the best I have seen in a long time. Great job.
