Pros: Close to downtown Boston
Cons: Validated parking
Location: Not much to do near hotel, need to take the bus or "T" to go anywhere fun.
Should have done some more research before taking this hotel. Situated in congested part of Boston right next to Boston University Medical Center. Needless to say, very noisy with ambulances screaming by every few minutes racing to the ER. Other than that, amenities were as expected for value of stay. Staff was nice, room was cramped for the five of us but we didn't stay there too long. Parking cost us $25 for the city garage across the street (annoying that this wasn't mentioned in description) so all in all, a 3 - 3½ ★'s depending on what's important.

Nice hotel, reasonable price

Pros: Free full breakfast!
Location: This hotel is a bit out of the way and you will have to either take shuttle or taxi to get to main attractions.
Hotel was clean and had nice lobby to relax in. Room with 2 queen beds was clean and comfortable.

Nice Hotel less nice area

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: The quality of the Hotel is very good and it is all up to date with nice decor.
Cons: I felt staff could have been more helpful in securing a taxi and at one point in time, it took about 30 min to get one.
Location: The only thing I noticed was a decent Sushi restaurant in the same block of buildings.
The Hotel is very comfortable and the decor is up to date. There is very limited dining in the area, and the neighbourhood feels a bit rough. It is right next door to a big hospital, so expect a few sirens. I was in town for a conference at the Boston Convention Center and the hotel was not near any of the conference shuttles, so if you want to go into the heart of Boston you will pay $15 each way for a cab. Of course you more than make up for the cost of the cab on the savings on the room pricing. It is just inconvenient and "away from the action". This hotel is recommended for business travellers as long as they are not on a really tight schedule. If you are a tourist, spend a few dollars more and stay closer to downtown.

It did not feel like the Hampton Inn

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: The beds were like giant soft pillow clouds that swallowed you whole! Amazing!!!
Cons: The handles in the shower wer rusted a bit. I see a bit of left over blonde hair everywhere!
Location: Central location, next to lots of bars and clubs. Transit near by. Great food just have to walk a bit!
I did not expect the hotel to be as nice as I expected. The hotel staff were helpful but it did not appear fake. The breakfast was hot, coffee was always hot and fresh. The view from my room was amazing. The room smelled amazing the sheets were nicely cleaned. It was a very quite area.

Terrible hotel close to hospital ER

At least our side of the hotel is close to hospital ER. I could not sleep the first night for the constant siren. The second night the siren did not bother me for I was totally exhausted and fell in sleep right away.

Comfortable and friendly

The property is comfortable and friendly. The neighborhood is not great with the hospital nearby and some street people hanging out. There is no restaurant on the premises, however a good breakfast is served each morning. There are no decent restaurants in the neighborhood either. There is a parking garage across the street with special rates for hotel guests. The property itself is great and a nice place to stay, but the neighborhood is a bit sketchy.

Hotel was loud, as it's downtown, but the location is convenient. My television didn't work (which is not a big deal personally), when I called and asked for assistance it took all night before they were able to send a maintenance man.
