Boutique means.. don't forget your toothpaste.

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Interesting interior. Great showers, very tall. I'm 6'4", so I always take note of that.
Cons: Customer service is a joke.
Overall this place is nice. It's right near a ton of places to eat, shop and see. Literally right the bay, right by the T, right by everything. Anyway, my only bad experience is with the front-desk. They're extremely short and non-helpful. I don't expect people with jobs they hate to smile at me, but don't be rude. I've had my fair share of jobs I didn't like, so I don't have any sympathy for rudeness. I learned that a "Boutique" hotel doesn't have certain amenities that places like "Best Western" and "The Marriott" have. Like.. Toothpaste. I stopped by the front desk and just.. asked for one of those 1oz tubes of Toothpaste. I was met with blank stares and grunted faces. Guy, "We're a boutique hotel." Me, "Oh? So.. that means you have mouthwash in the bathroom but no toothpaste?" Guy, "Buy it from the 24/7 shop around the corner." Ok! So. Boutique means.. don't forget your toothpaste.

Great Location

Posted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: Location - Location- Location
Cons: Parking......none on site......had to park my car a few blocks away!
Location: Walking distance to Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall & Wharf - T station (subway) across the street
My GF & I stayed in Newport RI for a Girls Getaway & only went to Boston for (1) night....I'm sorry we didn't stay longer so much to do nearby! Would have liked to explore other areas Oh well.....that will be our next GF Getaway :-)

Perfect Location. Surprisingly fantastic digs

Posted Jul 1, 2015
For the price when we stayed, this hotel was in the perfect location. Surprisingly wonderful when we expected just great. Nice simple modern design with everything you need and not much of the junk you don't need. It was in a great location for walkable distant to many of the top tourist locations and restaurants and literally right by the entrance to the blue line for easy subway and airport access. Has a nice business center and lounge area plus connected to a coffee shop and a bar. Try this place out

The Harborside Inn is so convenient to the subway station, the historic district, shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to the hop on-hop off buses too. It was easy to navigate with the help of the guide book provided in our room. The room was spacious and very quiet. We hope to get back to Boston again.

Top Lage & gute Alternative zu großen Ketten

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Die Lage.

Business trip to Boston

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Fantastic location! Staff was reasonably nice, but typical of a boutique hotel not quite the level of service of the larger chains. Everything was very clean and modern and the rooms, although small, are comfortable. The lobby bar / cafe is really really nice but not much 'action' there, which was surprising considering the location and decor. Really disappointing was that they don't serve anything fresh for breakfast which was a bummer. Only pre-made / frozen breakfast sandwiches and some muffins. No fruit or healthier options. The other bummer was there is no fitness center and the have any real reciprocity someplace nearby.
