Great hotel close to attractionsPosted Mar 8, 2014
Had a great stay here for my birthday get a way weekend. My boyfriend and I were able to walk to local delis, pizzerias, and DD for meals. We were also within easy walking distance of the New England Aquarium, TD Garden, and many pubs. Will definitely stay again.

Comfort and convenience in prime Boston locationPosted Mar 8, 2014
My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at the Harborside Inn while I attended a conference at another nearby hotel. First of all, I saved about $100 per night by staying at Harborside Inn instead of the hotel hosting the conference. Harborside Inn is a more quiet, low-key place with personal attention given by staff to ensure your comfort. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had the features we needed, including climate controls which were easy to regulate, comfortable bed and pillows, excellent shower with perfect temperature and water flow, refrigerator, LCD tv with hook-up to DVD and VHS players, and adjustable lighting. The only thing I would change if I could is to have a micro- fridge combo instead of just a refrigerator so that we could warm up food. Although the Harborside Inn does not have a full- service restaurant on the premises, they do have a breakfast cafe with pastries and coffee, and their cocktail lounge has some options for dinner, including pizza, salads and sandwiches. There are a number of good dining options within easy walking distance - among them The Granary Tavern, The Black Rose and Legal Sea Foods. The Faneuil Hall Martketplace and the North End are relatively nearby for other dining choices. The "T" is easily accessible as the Aquarium subway station entrance is right outside the doorway of the Harborside Inn. Other attractions nearby include the New England Aquarium and the Boston Trolley and Duck Tours.

Great hotel within walking distance to everythingPosted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: It was very clean and a good deal for the price.
Cons: It would be nice if each room had a microwave and water-boiler. I had to ask for hot water every time.
Location: Perfect location. Transportation, markets, and bars within walking distance. I booked this hotel not expecting much, but I was more than satisfied.
I was very impressed by the hotel. It isn't very luxurious or big as other hotels, but it is very good for its price. It has everything you need within reach. There is a 24 hour convenience store right next door, the Aquarium subway station entrance right in front, the Quincy Market 2 blocks away, New England Aquarium 5 minutes away, bars and pubs all over, great seafood restaurants in the area. It had everything. The hotel itself was very clean. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely return here the next time I visit Boston.

Nice hotel, right in the middle of everythingPosted Mar 7, 2014
I loved the hotel. It's older and has lots of Boston character. It's right next to the subway system, the aquarium, the harbor, Quincy Market, and all the seafood you could possibly want. Everything is walking distance. The bed was comfy, and the bathrooms decent sized. There was a DVD player in the room which was a nice surprise. It's not a chain hotel, so don't expect perfection. But it has lots of charm and the location is to die for.

Lovely accommodation in downtown BostonPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and beautiful. Staff was courteous. Free wi-fi works very well.
Location: The hotel is right across the street from Faneuil Hall, the Paul Revere House, the New England Aquarium, and numerous other points of interest.
Our hotel stay was perfect: check-in was painless since I'd prepaid through Expedia, our room was gorgeous, the queen bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was lovely, and because it's on the waterfront, there is no shortage of places to eat in the area (though some places close early since they're primarily lunch eateries for people who work downtown). The Harborside Bistro, which is attached to the hotel, has great food at reasonable rates (be prepared to pay a little extra for your cocktails, though). Overall, a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights in Boston.

The hotel is in the perfect location for nightlife. I was slightly disappointed with the size of the room but I had a good experience overall.

Nice hotel, great locationPosted Mar 3, 2014
Friendly staff, clean rooms and a great location. We walked to Faneuil Hall, harpoon brewery, the north end (tons of places to eat, mostly Italian), hard rock cafe, oyster house, financial district, the aquarium, and lots of other shopping and drinking establishments. Cool throwback hotel, lots of exposed brick walls. We opted for city view on top floor and wasn't disappointed. Biggest let downs were a small bed and no street parking. Garage is only a block away but it's approx $30/day for guests

Awesome spot and awesome stayPosted Mar 2, 2014
The hotel is very centrally located and was close to all our needs. We stayed one night for a concert. It's about a 12 minute walk to TD GArden. The room was a little smaller than I expected, but it was comfortable enough for just the two of us. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The same goes for the bathroom. I will definitely come back and stay in this hotel again!
