“Adorable & Great Service!”

My friend and I stayed here while visiting a friend in Cambridge, and it was such a great experience. The service was great; they let us check in several hours early, they provide a good breakfast and coffee, and the guy at the front desk made us a plate of cheese and crackers and brought it up to our room with wine for free (the wine & cheese is something you have to request). It's located only a 5 minute walk from the T to get to downtown Boston, and it's a pretty easy walk to Harvard Square. If you want to stay somewhere a little different (as in, not a chain hotel), this place is a great choice. I definitely plan on staying here again the next time I visit the Boston area.

Polite, charming, relaxing, convenient to local sights & to public transit. Very comfortable as long as one isn't expecting over-the-top, huge rooms. Public area welcoming, meticulously maintained & comfortable. These folks deserve repeat business & clearly love what they do.

This is a very comfy and friendly bed and breakfast with a convenient location, about a ten minutes' walk to Harvard Square down a beautiful street (or one could go to the nearby subway station, about three blocks away, and ride just one stop). Definitely a positive recommendation. Just a slight caution: because the building is an old Victorian house, first-floor rooms tend to catch a fair amount of noise from the reception area. But when I mentioned this problem, the staff very kindly gave me a much quieter third-floor room instead.

My stay at Harding house was cozy and comfortable. The size of the hotel is cozy, rooms were clean and well-decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. The sitting room with WiFi was perfect for getting work done during the day.

“A refreshing alternative in a good location”

A fabulous guest house hotel, in traditional style that was a such a pleasant change to the usual corporate faceless hotels. A central Cambirdge location made it a short walk to the main social area yet it was in a quiet residential street. Highly recommended - tremnedous value

“Highly recommend”

The Harding House was a comfortable, clean, interesting house. We were well taken care of, help with directions, free passes to museums, etc., friendly service and awoke to wonderful breakfasts. It was close to shopping, restaurants and the underground train.
