“Not Impressed”
For what we paid for this hotel, I expected better. It wasn't a terrible hotel, but it wasn't a 4-star experience. The restaurant on-site is so-so, and it's breakfast is limited and way overpriced (as is its room service.) The valet service was unsatisfactory... waits up 20+ minutes were the norm, and we had one wait over 30 minutes. There are definitely better options in downtown Boston.
“Nice hotel, good location”
Hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and quiet.Very good location within easy walking distance of many attractions.
“not bad”
The hotel was close to the "t" and Fanueil Hall. We were there for 3 days,it rained 2out of 3 days so we took a trolley tour. The airport "T" was within about 5 minutes walking. Don't take the taxi from the airport there is an airport fee before you even start moving. It cost a total of around $30 to get to the hotel from the airport which is about 5 miles. The "T' was about $2 per person to the airport, then there is a shuttle to take you to the terminal. The hotel room was spacious with a fridge, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron. The bed was soft and fluffy, not hard, if you like a soft bed. The coffee pot was used and not cleaned prior to my arrival, the coffee cups were dirty. The maid started waking us up at 730 slamming each hotel room yelling "housekeeping". I know I'm on vacation and should get up to see the sites, but 730am is a little too early for my taste. The first day we had no maid service, but was able to get clean towels as she passed by (for the 2nd day use). There was a young boy at the concierge desk named An.... he was very helpful with a pleasant personality. Actually everyone in the hotel was gracious and very helpful. They do also hold your luggage if you have a late flight and want to roam around a bit. There is also a business center where you can print your boarding passes for free and the man in there brought us free coffee and juice while we used the computer, that was as added bonus. I would probably stay at this hotel again if I return to Boston.
“Great location, 5 minute walk to Quincy Market”
Perfect if you're looking for something close to Quincy Market. Comfortable rooms, however our windows were covered with scaffolding due to some construction at the hotel. We didn't mind as we were only using the hotel to sleep and get ready for the day. Location made it an ideal spot for us for the weekend.
“Too hot”
Hotel was OK, room was extremely warm and thermostat didn't seem to work, heard another couple complaining about the same thing next morning. Location was good, would probably try somewhere else next time.
“Hotel currently wrapped in a construction blanket!”
The hotel is under construction so this presented some problems such as no natural light in the room. Breakfast was limited to an expensive buffet with no a la carte services for light eaters.
“Boston's Best place to stay!”
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the Hilton, everyone was so friendly and helpful and made our stay something that we will cherish. Your Day Bell Door employee by the name of Chris was so charming, friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. Our first time in Boston and it won't be the our last, we will see you all again and will let all of our friends and family to make sure they stay at the Hilton Boston Financial District. Thank you for a wonderful and joyful stay...............................
